The food was presented well and tasted just as good, hence, the 4-star rating. However, the quality of service we received was below average as the arrival of the almond and no-sugar cappuccinos, pink lady drink, and fries took much longer than expected. Whether this was due to a system error or miscommunication, it would have been beneficial for a staff member to check up on us to see if we all had our orders as we weren't aware that the drinks and fries haven't been prepared prior to us asking about them (unfortunately, the fries were delayed even further as they arrived after we asked about them twice). I also found it highly disappointing that despite having an infant and young child with us, we weren't told about a shisha-free area of the cafe. As first-time customers, we should have been informed about the shisha-free area and guided there, hence, the 3-star rating (which has been given as I believe the shisha-free area would have provided us with a better atmosphere). Absolutely loved our experience at Del Mondo! The brunch menu is fresh, creative, and beautifully presented — a perfect mix of Mediterranean-inspired flavours and café favourites.

We tried the Fiks Style Omelette, Avocado on Toast, Mediterranean Breakfast Board, and Burrata — everything was packed with flavour and cooked to perfection. Portion sizes were generous and the ingredients tasted fresh and high quality.

Their drinks were also a highlight — especially the Mint Blast and Mango Mixer, both super refreshing and great with the meal. And of course, we couldn’t leave without trying the Lava Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream — rich, gooey, and the perfect sweet finish!

The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the vibe was relaxed but stylish — perfect for brunch dates or a weekend catch-up.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a halal-friendly spot in Bankstown with great food and a solid variety of options. Can’t wait...

Came here for dinner and was disappointed. Staff lacked communication and customer service. Ordered the chicken fungi and asked for mash and veggies for the sides. It came out with chips and mash and I clarified that I ordered veggies. The waiter then blames the kitchen saying they ran out and then just walked away. Very odd way of handling the situation. I believe he was the one at fault and forgot to note it down but didn’t want to look bad so just blamed the kitchen. Usually if something is sold out you ask the customer to see if they would like to swap it for something else.
