I recently ordered online from Domino's Merrylands, choosing 3 large pizzas (BBQ chicken with no bacon, plain cheese, and vegetarian) and 3 sides (fries, garlic bread, and 6 nuggets). The ordering process was super easy, and I opted for in-store pickup with a 15–20 minute time frame, which was convenient.
When I arrived, the store was clean, and the staff was very friendly. However, there was a small issue: while the pizzas and garlic bread were ready on time, the fries and nuggets were not. By the time the sides were prepared, the pizzas were already cooling. Since I live a 9-minute drive away, everything was warm or cold by the time I got home. I had to reheat the pizzas and garlic bread in the oven and the fries and nuggets in the microwave.
The food itself tasted great, but there was another issue. After my son had eaten two slices of the BBQ chicken pizza, I discovered a strip of bacon on a different slice. This was concerning because I had specifically requested no bacon for religious reasons. Unfortunately, we had to stop eating that pizza.
I immediately called the store and spoke to a lovely Indian gentleman who answered promptly. After explaining the situation, he was incredibly apologetic and offered two replacement pizzas delivered to my home as compensation. I received a plain cheese pizza and a BBQ chicken pizza (without bacon this time), both fresh and hot. The replacement order was perfect, and his customer service was exceptional.

Previous 2 orders missing ordered items told would get credit in next delivery but never eventuated. The las and final order 3 is a charm didn’t even receive the order. After over a hour and a half rang the Merrylands dominos store was told the delivery had been delivered. We are in a secure block and persons have to buzz our unit to obtain access. That never happened we even went down stairs to check, nothing. Management on the night were rude and unprofessional. Told to fill in the feedback app, at this point we just wanted our money refunded and be done with them. Following day rang the store and told that I would be contacted by the owner and that he MAY have already refunded which may take up to 5 weeks to get to my account. At time of writing this review have not revived any contact from the business. It’s 40 dollars 💵 but nothing has been provided not even a simple apology. 2 of 3 pizzas were burnt from order last week. We always buy here and this was the first time it happened. I called to ask for a refund, and had to wait a very long time. But I was told no refund will be given and they will instead will be given 2 free pizzas. No code, no reference.
Today I rang to order pizza while we waited at the front of the store, and was told I had to buy online and they will refund. Seriously?
After speaking to the manager, they said they will make the pizza and will be ready in 15 minutes. (This was after being on the phone for 10 mins)
30 mins later, I asked about the order and that was only the time they actually prepared the pizza. I had to wait a total of 50 minutes, while waiting for outside the store. Despite being told it was supposed to be just 15 mis.
This time around, the pizza is not burnt. But the vegorama looks a lot lighter than usual, so thin crust not as crunchy. But cant be bothered.
