Hrt 2 Hrt — Restaurant in Sydney

Entrée and dessert were really nice. However for the main, I got a T Bone steak that I requested medium rare for. After the steak arrived it looked like tree bark when cut into and was extremely overcooked. I called the waiter Rob and told him. He returned the dishes. Ten minutes later the chef came to our table. He was very intimidating and very large. He pointed at our group and asked "who sent the steak back" i said me. He took me to the kitchen and angrily cut thr steak and pointed at it and said "this is medium rare and think twice next time you want to send food back". I was like shocked, did he just threaten me? Anyways, twenty minutes later, I get a new steak apparently supposed to be medium rare again and it was cooked for like 20 seconds (see photo). Rob the waiter was amazing because he removed the steaks from the bill and gave us free desserts.

Edit to response: You did not address anything about the way the situation was handled. We had about 8-10 people sitting there after they heard of the way you guys handled, it they don't want to come back.

I have been coming to Hrt 2 Hrt to smoke shisha since maybe 2014 or even earlier. However, the way this situation was handled, you probably have lost me as a customer forever for a $20 steak.

Additionally, regarding the actual meat, I have a literal photo of the steak attached so people can judge for themselves.

Heart 2 Heart Restaurant is truly a hidden gem! From the moment we stepped through the doors, the warm ambiance and friendly staff made us feel right at home. The restaurant boasts a cozy, welcoming vibe that’s perfect for any occasion—whether it’s a romantic dinner, family gathering, or even a casual lunch with friends.

The food was absolutely outstanding—each dish was a masterpiece. Every bite was packed with flavor, and it’s clear that the chefs pour their heart and soul into the cuisine. The menu had something for everyone, catering to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences. My personal favorite was the açai and sambousa which was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth.

What truly sets Heart 2 Heart apart, however, are the managers and staff. The management team went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of amazing. They were attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about making our visit memorable. They even took the time to check in with us personally and accommodate any special requests we had. It’s rare to find a place where the team truly works together to create such a positive and welcoming environment.

If you’re looking for a restaurant with exceptional food, impeccable service, and a team that goes above and beyond, Heart 2 Heart is the place to be. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their incredible dishes....

Visited this place first time as my friend suggested to try it out, usually go other places for Arguileh but was disappointed with the service or specific attitude of the girls here. The only person who was smiling was the manager/owner but she is not the one who is facing customers sitting down. We went for dinner and arguileh but later on skipped the food. we gave them so many opportunities to change their attitude and be courteous and smile as that’s what is customer service, few customers were feeling the same. I would have been their regular customer as the place is one of the best to have arguileh, if the owner and manager can turn around the way girls are dealing with people in the service area this restaurant is no doubt one of the best in Merrylands. Thumbs up again to the lady who was the manager or owner as she was smiling. Sorry to management for showing our disappointment but this is for your benefit in long run. We will give it another shot in next week and hope we and other customers receive attitude free friendly customer service!!
