Best bar snacks around - all my Christmas’s came at once when I saw pickled onions, cheese and Cabanossi skewers! And even better, you can get a bowl of Jatz to go with it! Winning @timeoutsydney cocktail bar awards of 2020; @doubledeucelounge is underground venue, named after the dive bar in Patrick Swayze movie Road House. It is certainly on theme with the plush walls, old school 70’s snacks and staff sporting some mighty fine moustaches. It was busy so we were squeezed into a furry walled booth and provided with the VHS case showcasing the retro cocktail menu

I LOVE THIS PLACE. the venue itself is pretty small but oh my god it is the most quaint, moody, romantic, atmosphere ever. it wasn’t loud at all so you can actually hear each other instead of screaming into each others ears over a live jazz band. i asked for a drink that wasn’t on the menu (french 75) and they were able to make it and it turned out pretty good so def going back just for that. overall if you’re looking for a dimly lit, quiet, aesthetic, romantic bar for a few drinks with friends or s/o, 1000% check this place out.

Do you remember the 21st of September? I definitely do, and our night at Double Deuce Lounge was the ultimate retro throwback! From the nostalgic VHS menus to a special nod to Patrick Swayze, every detail took us back in time in the best way. My friends and I were blown away by the atmosphere and the incredible attention to detail from the staff, creating an unforgettable experience for a friend’s birthday celebration. Thank you, Double Deuce, for making the 21st of September magical—can’t wait to come back!

I want to like this place, I really do, but I've not had a cocktail from here that I've actually enjoyed (personal taste, I guess), the music has always been a touch too loud, and the QR code menus aren't great when you're underground and have weak phone signal. I also tripped on the concrete stairs (both going in and out) which I think might be due to the treading having worn differently in each step. Anyway, I hobbled out of the bar in pain with blood pouring down my leg and a huge bruise across my shin. It was made worse by the security guy seeing me trip but doing nothing to help. Definitely lacking compassion. Oh, and I certainly wasn't drunk - not even close to it.

On the flip side, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the decor is kinda cool. You probably won't have an issue finding a table either. The toilets are clean and well stocked, and the same...

extremely unprofessional handle on a bad review! I enjoyed my experience at this bar when I went so I followed their instagram account. Next thing I know they get a couple of bad reviews on google and instead of handling the situation professionally, they post the reviews publicly on instagram with snarky responses even tagging one of the reviewers instagram account. Following this, posting their private messages with more insulting comments to the people who posted the reviews. I will not be returning here, I am extremely disappointed with the how unprofessionally the owners handled this situation, its a really bad look for the business. People who act like children should not be...

Really weird experience. When you get to the bar the curtain is closed, a party of 2 was declined and when we asked if a group of 10 could be seated and they said yes but there wasn’t enough space at the table for 10. It was a booth we were squished into so one person took a seat from the bar. Then we were told by the bar tender we couldnt take a bar seat to a table and had to give it back so the person had to sit on someone’s lap. The drinks then took over 15 mins to arrive and they refused to split bills for our group of 10. Really just felt like they wanted the money for a group or 10. Cocktails were nice though, probably wouldn’t go back unless it was a very small...
