Turkish Delights in Dulwich Hill
It is the best! Dulwich Hill Kebab Pizza Pide House at 532 Marrickville Rd Dulwich Hill is worthy of that bold statement. The kebabs are generously filled, the burgers tower, the bread, which is served on its own or as the base for pide and pizza, is moreish to say the least. The salad ingredients, resting in their separate containers, don’t hang around for long ensuring their constant replenishment and freshness with a satisfying chill and crunch.
You’ve got to meet Jacko, The Turkish Delight. He and his team will prepare your meal with care and present it with the friendliest of service. The care is evident in Jacko’s hummus with a creamy, velvety texture and quintessential flavour of Middle Eastern cuisine. What you will find about his burger patties is that they are noticeably meaty with a comforting mouth-feel, perfectly seasoned and crafted with a closely guarded Jacko recipe.
We have a “Jacko’s Night” at least once a week and his hummus is always a must, and always a winner at “Bring a Plate” gatherings with friends and family events. Don’t forget some baklava that is aromatic and sweet without being cloying.
We highly recommend a visit to this shop. You will be seduced by Jacko’s fare and captivated by his cheeky smile. Jacko has certainly earned the reputation of being quite a character in the neighbourhood and he, together with his business, demonstrates the cultural diversity of Dulwich Hill.
Enjoy!

Read moreI look forward to my Thursday evening Turkish meal when I get the falafel plate and two pieces of baklava. Also two spinach and cheese pides for lunch during the week - they are great when warmed, and then with a good layer of Greek yoghurt on top. Jacko is always in a good mood and certainly knows how to cook! I recommend this place. Lots of choice for the meat...
Read moreI have to say I'm very disappointed... I ordered the small snack box and it wasn't worth $15... I asked if I could swap the chips for salad like lettuce, tomato and onion but she couldn't do it... brothers kebab is 10000x better but I wasn't in the area and decided to come here...it was cheaper to get a kebab( with no bread) than a snack box... there was more chips...
