I’ve been to Eurobay twice since it reopened. The venue looks great, the food is delicious and well portioned and there’s a wide selection to choose from. My favourite is the roast pumpkin salad. The first time I ordered it there was barely any pumpkin (the hero of the dish) but the second time round I specifically asked for extra and I received a good portion (at no extra cost).
So why the 3/5 stars then. When I ordered the salad, I asked for no chickpeas. The waitress had no idea what I was talking about. When my salad came out it was missing the humus. I specifically asked for no chickpeas, not no humus either. When I called another waitress over she said the humus came with the dressing. She clearly had no idea what she was talking about cause the dressing was yoghurt with sumac. Why would you put humus into yoghurt. Staff should take some time to read and understand the menu.
Table water- if you’re not going to put a jug or bottle on the table then staff should regularly come around and check glasses and fill them up. I had to call staff over a countless number of times to fill up our glasses. More often than not I saw them chit chatting and that’s not okay when clearly several tables were out of water.
Lastly, I used to work in the hospitality industry so I know a thing or two about customer service. Greeting customers is key and during service be sure to have a smile on your face not look like every customers request is a chore.
Overall, I’d say Eurobay is a great place to dine but the staff need to work on their customer...
Read more(It was a busy Friday night…) Undecided where to go a young lady came out and asked if she could help us. Suffice to say in we went.
We had a Pina Colada, Espresso Martini, Oysters Mornay, Fritto Misto, and Lambshank.
Pina Colada tasted like a fresh pineapple off of tree not sweet, just how I like it, the Martini should be called the heart starter from just a sip you could run the quarter mile in 2 seconds flat, Brava to the cocktailologist (is it a word… it should be)
The oysters were FRESH…. the Mornay on top was not as creamy and the top was a little too charred for our liking ….
Fritto Misto generous portions of calamari, prawns and fish with chips and salad.
The seafood while again fresh were maybe cooked too long or not tossed in enough oil to keep them soft as they should be. The tartare sauce was delicious. For the salad, maybe have it on the side so customers can adjust to their liking, it was quite over powering which would be great if the dish was oily… which it was not 👌🏼
The lamb shank was the ⭐️of the show. Melt in your mouth in a tomato sauce accompanied by carrots, beans, broccoli and a little mash potato.
Overall the staff were lightning fast, we were advised they were busy and still wait time was minimal.
Will we be back ….. yes Thank you for a...

Have to Say the service is extremely DISGUSTING!!! Went there with a friend for late night food on Saturday. They're busy. We ordered 2 breakfast English Teas & a Calamari with fried chips. The Calamari is a bit over-fried and looks a bit dark. Nevermind. When we asked for a refill for the tea, the waitress said they DON'T provide the refill. This is NEVER happened before. I guess they don't provide the refill because they just want us to finish our dinner ASAP so that they have another table for the waiting customers. Neverming Again. Since the food is a bit salty & I cannot drink cold tap water, I asked the waitress for a glass of hot water. It was weird that the girl did not give it to me directly and instead of it asked for a guy in blue shirt (claimed as the manager) then came back to say "DO NOT PROVIDE HOT WATER". I was a big angry as this is supposed to be a standard basic service in any restaurants & cafe in Syd. Even more, The "manager" came to us and said: "WE DO NOT HAVE HOT WATER, WE ONLY HAVE HOT TAP WATER, IS THAT WAHT YOU WANT????" UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!! the coffee machine is just right there which can generate the hot water. they don't even have a kettle???Won't be there anymore...
