THE BEST GREEK IN BRIGHTON. (BEST GREEK I HAVE EVER HAD) Beautiful staff to start off with, their kindness, quirks and care were the best part of the experience. The food on the other hand. SENSATIONAL. OUTSTANDING. FRESH. TENDER. SEASONED FOR THE GODS. I wish you could taste the photos. THE BREAD! THE DIP, THE MEATS. (DONT TELL MY MUM THAT THIS IS BETTER THAN HERS) I tried little bit of nearly everything in my first visit. I promise I will be coming back to try more. Everything was incredibly fresh, quality & quantity, fast food service, attentive staff. This is a divine place to take anyone. Very homely and elegant at the same time which makes the experience that much more comfortable. The star of the night for myself would be how they managed to get everything so tender & that the flavours for everything were perfectly noted. Please try Karami if you're thinking of where to go. Travel for it. Walk for it. Run for it. They do not miss. Thank you Dom & Jason for your outstanding service. I have never been so happy.

We went today-Monday there for a lunch and there was no people inside exept me and my friend, waited for the gyros more 40min, for two gyros we paid $42, the most intresting was the wine glass which was over price $15 for a glass, but on the menu to buy bottle was $40, so if we decided to get one more gass each we would spend $60. How does this work!!! We use to come here, couple of months ago and we use to pay for the glass $7 and gyros for $18 which was the weekly offer. I'm very disappointed and not sure if is worth to spend $72 for a 2 glasses of wine and to gyros. Quality of the food was not what we expected as we had old and burn chips. I would no recommend this place anymore.

We were fortunately able to get a last minute reservation at Kamari’s and to our surprise, it was a quaint and elegant restaurant that had a peaceful ambiance suitable for some special bonding time with family and friends. Food is great for value, we came in ravenous and left full to the brim. Staff were very friendly and do everything right in accordance to covid safety. Just as a side note to future diners though, if you’re going to chuck up a stink about having to spend a minute to download the NSW Services app to check in to a restaurant then do us all a favour and please stay home lol 🤡

For sum reason at Kamari we were seated at the back where the baby chair was behind a column,it was very squishy and I don't believe the table behind us was taking up much room, not a good start. Lucky my friend didn't bring a pram!

Food wise, The 6 dips were ok,nothin stood out for me but the wife liked the spicy feta, reasonable amount of bread came with it

Dolmades were warm which is a nice change and had meat in it,nice!

Zucchini flowers look good in presentation but lacks taste

Chicken liver,a acquired taste,I like it but the more you have, the more you don't want to have more as the taste can be over powering

Greek salad, they were not stingy with the feta

Meatballs were ok,at least it wasn't dry

Calamari, well all fried food tastes good, enough said!

The chicken souvlaki was disappointing,it was a little burnt and you could taste the charcoal burnt taste

Vegetarian moussaka was also disappointing but I think I've been spoilt by my Greek friends mum who makes it so well

Service is friendly though and not too hard to wave down. The mezes came out really quick

Would I come back? Yes but would appreciate...

First time visiting Kamari, me and my family were not let down with full bellies and very fair prices. The first thing I noticed was the fantastic service a tourist in Greece would receive throughout our time there. The second is obviously the food, that was being served and we ordered, was of great quality fresh and cooked to perfection. The gentleman serving us had told me that his Giagia (Grandmother) was in the kitchen as a joke which I literally believed for a second it was that good! Bringing back memories of Greece and it’s tavernas by the sea, was all part of the amazing atmosphere and all that will be bringing me back soon and quite often and will definitely recommend to anyone looking for what I have just mentioned above. Great menu options for food and drinks. Not overpowering flavours. And tastes traditional as it should be, is exactly what I have grown up with. Well done and thank you to the team taking care of...
