Farm Cove Eatery — Restaurant in Sydney

Disappointing! Decided to have a lunch and ordered side of fries and GF poke bowl. Were excited about poke bowl until we got the food. It was rather a vegetable bowl consisting of broccoli, grilled carrots, some avocado and maybe be rice ? We haven’t gotten to be bottom of it . After opening the lid of the bowl, it was apparent that there was no tune or salmon. What a surprise 😮! I went to the counter and said that this is not what we expected. It was our mistake that we didnt read the menu . After eating poke around the world, no matter in each country we were it always included either tuna or salmon . Thats what poke is about. In this establishment, poke bowl is not what you except . Its a vege bowl costing you $22 and you pay extra to add chicken or salmon. Manager response was that the poke is different everywhere and this is what you ordered according their menu. I’ve asked what can be done as we did not touched the food and if it’s possible to get something else. The options was to add chicken or salmon and to pay extra. However, we did not want to have a vege bowl to begin with. We left with a great disappointment wasting $34. The side of chips was $12 and it was not yummy either. It was neither...

I usually come here every now and then. today on Father's Day, ordered a burger its now changed menu changed, the beef burger patties are double. You cannot change to one Pattie???? ridiculous, same price. They changed the Pattie recipe, adding middle eastern spices and other spices that affect me. Didn't like it at all, plus the Pattie was raw not cooked had to return it. There was no salad with the meal usually coleslaw. Price higher and not eating here again. Hubby didn't like it either, sore stomach as well or issues. If you change your patties or menu, you should at least let customers know, what's in it and you have increased the price too. Chips the only thing that is good, family member had schnitzel which was good. Won't be coming to eat here. Coffee maybe but will see.

Tables need to be cleaned, as many birds roam the area and deposit stuff around. Needs more hygiene...

1)several tables were unstable, customers were moving around looking to find somewhere steady to sit and drink and eat. When raised with staff, they replied that there was nothing they could do, it was for the maintenance team to do, but they had no idea when they might arrive to fix them. 2) staff were not cleaning tables, many of which had bird droppings on them. When not busy serving food and drink, staff seemed happy to chat amongst each other. 3) we had to make separate trips to collect food and drink from the servery, when items were ready at different times. Staff needed to be reminded what was on the order. 4) staff are young and seem keen to do well. Strong impression is that they have little training or management supervision in how to provide good hospitality service. Will not...
