Fillippo's — Restaurant in Sydney

I reserved a table for father's day for 7th September 2025. We were seated promptly. I placed orders for 4 of us. Two of us were served first. One order was for sirloin steak with chips and vegies, but was given a smelly piece of sirloin, chips and salad instead, the chips looked like they had been cooked or reheated twice and were served cold. The other order was for rib-eye, when it was served it was definitely not rib-eye, it tasted as if it had been defrosted and quickly put on the grill. It did not taste as rib-eye should, it was tasteless, chips were overcooked and cold. It took the other two orders at least 40 minutes to arrive. One of the orders was only for fish and chips and it took that to be served. Had a look at the last order for pasta and it looked disgusting. I was told that unfortunately the original Fillippino's had been taken over by other management which is unfortunate because I previously dined at Fillippo's before and their service and food was impeccabe, it is disappointing but unfortunately we will not dine...

It may have changed hands recently as everyone was singing there prays however we found it to be not so great, which wouldn't deter me from going back . l guess after all it was reasonably priced and the quality of food seemed quite nice indeed and was abundant to state a few pluses. Here comes the "However," the reminder on a number of occasions that were closing at 9 pm before slipping water all over the table was concerning, maybe not intentional. Went 1st time for Mothers Day very busy our family placed orders. Ordered Surf n Turf the lobster was rubbery and cold the steak was raw ,calamari not cooked enough kids meal was all over the place my daughter got hers last after everyone ate found 2 bones in her burger and it didn't taste good not a good look for 1st time ordered coffees and said they don't do macchiato but can do afogato strange they also said there was prizes didn't see or hear it bit dissappointing.
