Coffee: Forsyth Coffee Passion: 9/10 Crema: 9/10

Every time I visit this cafe I reminds me of when I worked at Cafe Hernandez back in the day. It has the same old school charm, a massive array of different coffee blends and staff who really want to make sure you get the best coffee experience. Though these hardest thing you'll have to overcome when you come here is....deciding which coffee to try.

Today I went with the Tanzania Blackburn Estate single origin as an espresso and, while I missed the bigger whack of brightness that I was expecting (and probably more evident in a pour over coffee), it was thoroughly enjoyable. What was really surprising was how long the buttery, chocolaty after-taste stayed around. Not unpleasant at all...

Then I went for a espresso from the classic Burundi ( Mumirwa region) and loved the difference between the Tanzanian coffee. The bright lemon citrus cut through really well, and didn't stay around too long (which was also a plus). It felt almost like a cleansing coffee that sets me up to have....another...at some point... soon... :-)

So when you come here ( and you should), be sure to come inside, check out the various rooms, sit back and enjoy a great coffee (or two). They do have seating outside but personally I love the feeling inside the cafe more.

N.B. There is #powerwhoring available in the "Tea" room below Van Gough's "The Café Terrace at Night" There is no public...

Terrible Service - Rude and Arrogant

A shame because I used to like their coffee. I had been coming to Forsyth Cafe for many many years but it seems they can't be bothered treating their customers with any respect. When I asked for a "flat white with no froth" not only was a told quite rudely "Flat White's don't have froth!" (well really??? I'm sick of paying for a full cup of coffee only to walk away and find half the cup is filled with foam - making the other half of my FLAT white too strong to drink) But I didn't argue - i just replied very nicely that I would like it Extra flat please. When our coffees were ready we heard the "baristas" behind the counter say "This is the coffee for the people with something against foam" And then when the barista handed us the coffee he added "I had to work extra hard for that one mate - getting it FLAT!"

If the job's too hard for you MATE - get another one! They weren't having a nice joke - they were being arrogant and rude. I wont drink...

A wonderful Cafe, been in the Naremburn area for many years. A friendly family cafe that deals in all things coffee. Coffee beans from all over the world, many different brands processed to your requirements. Including mugs cups and pots ,all sizes, plus plungers and other coffee equipment. Did l mention little cakes and slices from local bakers, and finally a selection of hand made chocolates. Of course friendly and helpful staff, ready to assist and answer any questions you may have. l'me sure l haven't covered everything, except to say this pleasant little cafe spread over two floors plus outside encircled by coffee bushes,is well worth a visit. Very popular, l have been a satisfied customer for many years, and the coffee ? Wonderful, you...

If you are after weak tea, unfriendly staff, and ambiance similar to the movie "Seven" then look no further! Expecting a quirky, but quality experpience, we were greatly dissappointed. We ordered two teas and a coffee. The tea came without cups nor spoons and the server looked puzzeld when we asked for them. The teapot had barely any tea in it, reminiscent of 1940's Brisitsh tea rationing making for a very weak cup of tea. I had to put my tea acutally in my cup - *see photo* to achieve a flavour beyond hot water. In this day and age I can't believe places still like this exist, so for a nostagic walk through Sydney suburbia in the 1970's, come on down!

If you travel for coffee, check this place. The macchiato was excellent; flavour, temperature, acidity and intensity. The place is overcharged with old items; they could change extra as museum. The lovely couple; I believe the owners are friendly; old school. Passion fruit cheese cake was superior than the croissant. The place might need a renovation, but it gives character. It seems the place doesn’t have a kitchen; so it you are hungry, get a take away coffee This place is highly recommend

If you’re in Forsyth and looking for the perfect cozy drink, do yourself a favor and try the hot almond chocolate at Forsyth Coffee Shop. It’s rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with a smooth nutty twist from the almond like a hug in a cup. Not too sweet, just comforting and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and the vibe of the shop makes it a great spot to relax. Highly recommend this drink, especially on a chilly day!
