had a study-brunch here (around the time university semester starts) and it was really crowded and chaotic. i don't think it is as busy here on average, but crowdedness during the afternoon rush definitely made my stay less comfortable. unfortunately had to wait for a while to get a menu and have my order taken, as well as wait for my meal and coffee. the food itself was delicious though, i ordered a granola bowl and enjoyed it very much. portion size isn't too big but filling, and all ingredients go wonderfully together with good proportions. it's definitely on a pricier side though. recommend going here when it's not busy inside.

I had an amazing time at this restaurant! There is a great energy that makes the place feel cosy and inviting. The food was really delicious, and the service was outstanding! The kind woman with the glasses who went above and beyond to suggest the greatest food in their restaurant and enhance the entire experience deserves a particular mention. Anyone searching for delicious cuisine, excellent service, and a nice atmosphere should definitely check this place out! ☺️

Just a bit cool for a rainy day. Had a superb lunch dish of Chicken Lemon and Lavender - lightly crusted, richly herbed, cooked, accompanied and served to an excellent degree. Ample portion. Never had a dud meal here over the years. Great service and Roberto is a delight and an asset. Long may The Forum rule! Tasty generous glass of Dalfarras prosecco to boot! 47 with tip. Happy as...

I work at the university, and frequently go to a few of the cafe's around the Camperdown campus (Campos, Parma, Laneway etc...).

Forum is definitely one of the better cafe's around campus, mainly because of its decor and staff, coffee itself is respectably good, and they even let you borrow keep cups if you forget yours, which is quite nice.

Only 2 issues,

Forum cafe doesn't give discounts if you BYO cup, if it did, it would be the only cafe on campus to do so and therefore people would flock to the cafe.

Second, they don't have quick breakfast options even though they have a full kitchen. Something small like a breakfast sandwich with my coffee. For instance, Parma cafe have a coffee and B&E roll...

Food was a bit blend and watery, I had to get my latte redone because there was coffee streak in the middle of my cup, either it was not washed properly or the espresso was left in there for 20 mins. (The coffee didn’t taste fresh anyways) and then I was given attitude for bringing that up to the waiter, he literally asked me to just scrape it off with my spoon like was I meant to drink the stain??

When I went to pay this lady kept nagging me to leave a good review even thought I told her it was a bit mid, this isn’t the first time she’s asked me to leave a good review. Last time it was when I was mid eating. So...
