The beds were so comfortable and the apartment was gorgeous. Everything was so cleaned and well maintained. The reception area smelled lovely as soon as you walked in. |The apartments were so pretty. The kitchen was fully functional. The shower was gorgeous with very nice smelling shampoo and conditioner available for use. |The washing machine was a little bit loud, but it was barely audible with the door closed over. The balcony was lovely and neat, with an excellent view of the pool - perfect for an early morning, or if you wanted to watch out for any friends/family in the pool. |The staff were so helpful and friendly, and they had answers to all of our questions. |The location was perfect too. Redfern station was only a short walk away, and Broadway shopping centre was about fifteen minutes by foot. It is perfectly located to visit the Sydney Opera house, Darling Harbour, or get to Central station to pick up any tours you might have planned.|There was a lovely pub and off-liscence (Glengarry Castle Hotel) between the station and the apartment, and a Woolworths grocery right next to the station to stock up on anything you need. |There was no issue getting a taxi/uber from the area and it was less than $50 to the airport...
Read moreThe room was great. However, we were woken up by a gardener mowing the lawn and blowing leaves around in the courtyard first thing Sunday morning. Why? Of all days and times? Don't stay here if you want a Sunday sleep-in.
Update in response to Liam's reply: Hi Liam. Thanks for your reply. We were actually moved from the room we booked to this room because our room wasn't available when we were booking in. We thought it would be great to wake up with a view of the courtyard and a swim in the pool. That aside, you state check-out is 11am, not 10am or 10.15am, so why would you plan to have your gardener there before everyone checks out and not after? There's literally 4 hours between check-out and check-in that you could do these works. So is it intentional? There were a number of girls that were waiting patiently to enjoy their coffees in the courtyard while your gardener was occupying the area and we wanted to go for a swim but by the time he was done, guess what, check-out time. I just can't understand why you choose Sunday morning to do these works when there's literally 6 other days in the week....
Read moreWas excited for a relaxing and warm stay but was sorely disappointed. I booked a week stay with Adina in Chippendale having a bathtub in mind and made a request specially for it beforehand (they just renovated the place and not all rooms have it). We were not given a room with a bathtub and apparently “requests are not guaranteed” so checking in with them before booking was all talk - very disappointed with the service.
I was only moved to another room with a bath after a few days and this was me being lucky! It wasn’t guaranteed.
The tv and central air conditioning in the rooms are also so complicated to use. The streaming apps only allows you to play something while connected via their wifi and it disconnects after selecting one video so save your breath!
The place looks lovely (even from the photos) but that’s all it is. I wished that the stay was more comfortable and seamless especially for the price that entails. But I won’t be coming back.
*edit: just talked to the staff at checkout and the service from the manager was horrible. changing my rating from...
