Updated review: We’ve tried a couple times their truffle cordon bleu & shakshuka and we’re never disappointed: they both are really tasty! Would definitely recommend these 2 dishes. The pineapple sunshine mocktail & ice matcha latte were both okay flavour-wise (and lacking of presentation!). The Nutella crepe is always amazing (though the crepe was a bit too chewy for our liking at our last visit.. hopefully it was just a bad batch!) Also, love being able to order from the QR on the table; so much more convenient! ———————————— Great food and ambiance! I definitely recommend the Berry French Toast, it was fluffy and so tasty. We also had the chicken & corn chowder, which was a generous portion and good for the chilly weather. We finished it off with an apple crumble crepe which was amazing. All these accompanied with a “Jane the Queen” tea and a cappuccino, it was a great experience (+ loves that we could come with our dog!). Would definitely come back!

We dined at Garcon for our first visit to the Tramsheds at Harold Park! It was a great experience. We loved the layout of the cafe and enjoyed being perched on the mezzanine level and having a view down onto the long island bar and kitchen. The food was all quality. Highlights included an out of this world good Seafood Chowder. Those maritime flavours with a sweet broth that contained onions, chunks of bacon and corn. The seafood was cooked to perfection, including plump mussels and falling apart salmon. A croque madame was luxurious with its sweet Bangalow ham and emmental cheese. Coffee was excellent. On a warm day, give the cold drip a go, you won't be disappointed! A great experience with friendly service topping it off!

nice relaxing brunch spot amongst the beauty of the Tramshed! pet friendly too! decent food, decent coffee! overall service was good... we were moved from one table to another, and we were told to continue ordering with the same QR code (you order food via the QR on table) however my food took well over 30mins to arrive.. had to follow up on my food! my coffee came on time so it was clear my order went through correctly. wanting to note that everyone else on my table received their coffee and dishes on time - whereas my dish came out close to 30mins after everyone elses dish after i had followed up on it too! so despite this little hiccup, it was a decent brunch session

Came here for lunch and a colleague and I got seated in the upper level space where the view of the central open kitchen and other seats below feels like watching a live action of Restaurant Dash or similar. Bustling and bright. The lunch menu was relatively more costly with respect to portion sizes and on a busy day, service can take some time considering how popular this cafe is. The Shakshuka came in a mini iron pan with two (small and thin) slices of bread, which felt a little improportionate for the amount of tanginess in the sauce. Thicker slices of bread would go better with the lovely poached eggs. 🥘
