Would you like some coconut taro milk tea with your water? Because that's what you may actually get!!

The boy didn't think to put the lid on the blender when preparing the 2x taro coconut milk teas I ordered.

As you would expect, some of the milk tea splashed everywhere & consequently when he tried to fill the 2nd serving cup, it onlv filled the cup halfway as he lost that much prior.

So instead of making more milk tea, he tops it up with, I swear water, from the jugs above. Then he pours some of the milk tea from the 1st cup into the 2nd cup & in the process pours all the ice into it & also tops up the 1st cup with water.

As he serves it to me, I question him that whether he just topped them up with water? He replies no. I said well what was that in the jug (as it was clear)? He then says that it is herbal tea & they use it for flavou. Mind you I'm sure herbal tea has some colour in it.

So the end result, my wife gets the 1st cup which is watery & not even cold as theres no ice in it. And I cop the full watery coconut taro milk tea loaded with ice (FYI I order little ice for both milk teas).

I had always been obsessed with milk tea, and this Gong Cha place is obv my go-to place! The staff are super nice and don’t act up when you’re struggling to unlock your device for your membership! Their gongcha tastes way better than other places, as they take time to make sure it’s great, unlike some other Gongcha places I could mention. Today I came to buy 1 glass of water and 2 choco waffles and green tea. I don't know how it was on other days, but the waffles I ate were the worst. My mom always said the waffle at Gongcha Canley Height was delicious, but I found it not to be as good today. Green tea waffles are baked to black, and if there are stickers, I can't distinguish between green tea and choco. The two female employees serving me today show no respect for their customers.
