Edit, the hand cut chip is back! Dunno what happened. Back to 5 stars.

PREVIOUSLY WAS A 5 STAR REVIEW:

Is this place under new management? I ordered my usual last night, and it was woeful... The hand cut chips were replaced with some shutty frozen chip that was undercooked and tasted like oil. The spicy feta dip had huge chunks of capsicum in it and wasn't spicy. The chicken kontosouvli was slightly undercooked.

What's happened! This was my go to. My sanctuary. 😭

The man loved the Greek restaurant with all his heart. He loved the charcoal chicken kontosouvli, the crisp Greek salad, the hand-cut chips, the spicy feta dip, and the Peloponnese white wine. He loved it so much that he would often order it on Uber Eats when he was hungover at home. It solved all of his problems.

When his mates came to town, he would always take them to the Greek restaurant. They would feast on the delicious food and drink, and laugh and talk until the early hours of the morning. Lazy warm Sundays were the best days to spend at the Greek restaurant, especially in the evening. The man would bring his dog along, and they would sit at a table outside, enjoying the sunshine and the warm breeze.

One Sunday evening, the man was sitting at his usual table with his dog, enjoying a plate of charcoal chicken kontosouvli and a glass of Peloponnese white wine. He was watching the sunset over the city, and he felt content and happy.

"This is the perfect life," he said to his dog. "A Greek restaurant, a good book, and my best friend. What more could I ask for?"

His dog wagged its tail in agreement.

The man finished his meal and paid the bill. He then took his dog for a walk around the block before heading home. He was feeling relaxed and happy, and he knew that he would be back at the Greek restaurant soon.

After all, it was his favorite place in the world.

The man loved the Greek restaurant because it was more than just a place to eat. It was a place where he could relax and be himself. It was a place where he could create memories with his friends and family. It was a place where he felt at home.

I have visited this restaurant a few times in pre covid and the food was good and the Greek waiters (from Greece) were courteous and attentive. We were looking forward to heading out for dinner yesterday after such a long time, however our experience was very disappointing. It took quite a while to be recognised, served and receive our drinks but they were quite busy so that was fine. Our entrees were nice, and we were chatting waiting for out mains. When I received my lamb souvlaki plate and I took my first bite the meat had a smell and slightly sour taste like it may be spoiled. I wasn't sure if I should say anything however I thought to let the waitress know, as it could be a health concern as it also looked a little undercooked. To my surprise she immediately got defensive and scoffed at the idea like I had personally attacked her and I had no idea what I was talking about. Telling me that she doesn't know what I tasted, but their meat is always freshly cut and "besides its Mutton so that could be why it smelled different". Firstly, mistakes can and do occur in establishments so I would expect her first reaction to be that of concern when someone raises a possible issue, offering an immediate alternative, and not a defensive berating, then followed by an offer for something else. We saw her head towards the kitchen and was visibly complaining about us. Not very welcoming, not accommodating and not professional. We paid for our meal in full, including the $42 lamb that we did not eat. We will consider not revisiting in future again, only because of the response we received which really dampened the night. The customer doesn't need to be right, but they need to be respected and concerns taken seriously. Also, one final note, if you have lamb on your menu and a charging lamb prices, don't tell customers you're giving them mutton. That should be...

Very Rude older lady there accuses you of lieing and shouts at you when confirmed seperate billing at booking. Also they give u menu then charge more than price on menu and tell you that's the takeaway menu when you booked table and had dined in. Felt very humiliated and upset had to go early leave the group. Won't ever go back there. Also menu is bad worst I've ever seen in a Greek restaurant. Not much variety and overpriced. 2 DRY souvlaki with pita bread $15. No salad nothing. I organized group and most ppl complained to me about it. Very bad experience for a Saturday night and was looking forward to it. Many Greek restaurants in area I've been to never treated so disgracefully. And variety and food much better.

AVOID AVOID AVOID RUN RUN RUN FAST

They can't even apologize to me for treating me so disgustingly after bringing them so many customers but continue to accuse me of lieing after bringing it to the Attention of management. Im not getting any money to lie about this place. I got shouted and told I lied when I mentioned politely don't forget the seperate dockets. They placed the cheaper takeaway menu in front of us at TABLE then charged more. That lady should apologise theres no excuse no matter how busy it is to get shouted and told your lieing. I WAS TREATED LIKE THEY WERE DOING ME A BIG FAVOR HAVING ME THERE. And I'm still getting treated disrespectfully from management reply message. Most guests complained to me about the food quality and variety and I forgot to mention plate snatching. Still trying to get over my experience 2 days later. I've never in my life been treated like this at ANY...

This place by Ramsgate beach is awesome. And a great place to take someone out to dinner. I'd say it is an upmarket restaurant with awesome food at a reasonable price. Dinner for 2 (without drinks) can be managed in under $80. I recommend the fried calamari and the share plate for 2. Great ambience, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice and bright and clean interiors. Outdoor seating is also good when it's not too cold or windy. After dinner, you can take a stroll on the Grand Parade to walk off that 'full' feeling. And there's a dessert bar not too far from here to finish of the night. Parking is not too much of a problem and there's usually a spot to find around. Overall a great evening experience.
