Read moreWorst experience I have ever had in my whole life. Ordered online to get food "faster".... Waited for solid half an hour....the girls working in the front counter had no idea what they were doing....some of them seemed really high I swear and some of them were dancing completely ignoring my "excuse me". The girls were in their different worlds altogether. I asked two of them showing my order number and my order just sitting there getting cold (I could literally see my food getting cold). They just replied "won't be long" and "we are waiting for something (she literally said "they were waiting for something"). After half an hour I asked a third girl about my order. After that she just packed my cold food and gave them to me (obviously double checking the order number even though I was the only one waiting there and having asked for my particular order for three times. It's quiet evident what those teenagers were doing and I understand I might have done something to make them team up on me and give me the worst experience of my life. MY MAIN COMPLAIN IS TO THE GUZMAN Y GOMEZ MAIN OFFICE WHICH FOR SOME UNRECOGNIZABLE REASON LET A BUSY SHIFT LIKE FRIDAY NIGHT RUN ON ONLY TEENAGERS. There were no adults I could see in all of my 45 minutes wait for my food. The result was I couldn't even eat the chips. This was my dinner and those guys have literally look food out of my mouth and I am sleeping with an empty stomach tonight. I might have been a joke for them but they have ruined the...
Read moreI’ve been a regular customer at this GYG location, frequently stopping by for a breakfast burrito before Mass on Sundays. The food has always been consistently good, and Hugo usually prepares it perfectly.
However, my experience this morning was disappointing. I visited at 8 a.m. in heavy rain, and while ordering, I had to raise my voice so the staff could hear me clearly, as I was repeatedly told they couldn’t hear me. I ordered the spicy breakfast burrito, a regular favourite of mine, but what I received today was drastically different. The burrito, made by McKenna as indicated on the wrapper, was excessively covered in sauce, with the entire filling appearing brown and some areas containing pools of sauce. Unfortunately, this overwhelmed the flavours of the eggs, hash brown, and bacon, making them indistinguishable.
While I appreciate spice, it should complement the dish, not overpower it. This was by far the worst breakfast burrito I’ve had, and I’m disappointed by the drastic change in quality. Normally, this location is a 10/10 for me, but today’s experience has left me reconsidering my visits.
I did notice the staff member at the drive through, gave me my order with a grin and a somewhat sarcastic “have a nice day,” which seemed unprofessional, especially given the quality of the food I received. I hope this was just an off day, but given the circumstances, I felt it necessary to share...
