Harp and Fiddle — Restaurant in Sydney

Worst Bar ever in my life. I am not someone who would generally post reviews but this bar calls for one. Extremely rude staff and very racist. We only had our first drink at the bar and the manager told us to leave the venue as the bartender thinks that my partner is intoxicated. With our first drink in the evening i am not sure how the bartender came to that conclusion. Everyone in the bar was seemed weird and far more drunk and nothing was done about that and instead we were asked to leave coz we are not white. Extreme racism. I would say stay outta this place. Went here on the weekend and wish it was a better experience. Although: the food was literally amazing. We had a schnitzel with veg & chips and it couldn’t have been done better. Would have rated 5 stars if the staff were not so rude, defensive and generally dismissive. We felt judged and ridiculed by the 2 staff with whom with interacted with, I’m guessing because we were obviously tourists. They acted as if we were bothering them and like just really did not want to be there. Overall an ok experience but can get a decent chicken...

When we asked to have a glass to fill with water instead of the plastic disposable ones provided we were told that the cleaning products they used to clean the glasses were worse for the environment than using their disposable plastic cups. We were not given the glass we'd asked for and promptly finished our meal and left.
