Small portions, long wait, some staff appear to be worse at their job than others. We ordered food, the food was priced fairly high for their portion sizes, I mean take a look at the photos and the prices, I know inflation hit everywhere but I can grab bigger portions of food for less than the price they're charging here, at the airport. Yes, the airport where everything is overpriced. I also asked for table water, and the guy who took my water acknowledged my request. Didn't fulfil it though, when the food came out after a long, and I mean LONG wait, I reasserted my request for table water which was again, verbally acknowledged but didn't happen. How does table water not come out before a long wait for food? If I have to get it myself, just tell or point me in the direction, I can get it myself if permitted. We even ordered at the bar itself, how difficult is it provide water? I don't get it. Is it some scum selling technique to get me to order drinks by not providing water? I mean what else can one assume right? It's not like the place was busy when we were there. Leaves a very poor impression. I feel bad because I had to express how LONG it has been since my request was ignored multiple times to a completely different staff member who had to apologize when it wasn't even their task. But they got me the water right away so only some staff appear to be attentive. Fyi, that first staff never brought any water in the end, and if I ever come back here, you best believe I will be physically FOLLOWING them for a water request until the filled glass is in my hand. Whoever is managing this place, you're welcome in advance for this free service coming from me.

Great local pub in Homebush, they have great food and excellent service. They have large screen tv for sports and the staff are very friendly, even offering to put on the commentary for us to watch the game. The pub is new and very clean, chairs comfy and set up very well to watch sports. Food is excellent and reasonably priced, have had the platter for two and was very filling. Pasta was nice, but very good serving size and at a good price. Burger is great and fries also cooked perfectly. Will be back again and again, really glad to have found this place. Hope the quality and comfort of the pub continues!

Popped into this hotel twice on a Saturday: once for a quick coffee and later to grab lunch. On both occasions, the food was great and service was fast and friendly. I enjoyed the poke bowl which was fresh and delicious while my husband had the fish and chips which was tasty. Coffee though is a bit average. The hotel is reasonably new and right on Parramatta Rd. Its obviously set up for sports fanatics with an outdoor screen and a food truck all undercover and the pokies in the corner. Even the toilets looked good ...green marble! Very upmarket and extremely clean. Well worth a visit

We went to watch the State of Origin 2023, 1st Game. Get out for a night. The venue played stupid music right up untill the football game actually started. We couldn't listen to the one hour post match commentry. Sorting out technical issues, 'after the game had started' is not the way forward. We should have been permitted to watch the game from the get-get go too. We heard footy fans yell out, "I'm going to the Horse & Jockey...I'm going to The Wentworth," (other pubs close by,) and "we saw patrons raise their hands in frustration, and heard many complain, so we were not the only ones not happy. Throughout the entire game, a certain bar staff stood where patrons behind him couldn't see the game. This one particular bar staff took it on himself to continually obstruct view througout the entire game. We kept on asking him to move, there were plenty of places he could stand "to watch the game, ( when he should have been concentrating on doing what he gets paid for,) but he kept on obstructing our view, standing for 2-4 minutes, until we had to leave our seats to ask him to move many times. His buddies, (not sure if they were staff members, or regular patrons,) thought this "was most amusing," and each time we had to leave our seats throughout the entire 80 minutes, to ask him to please move, this bar staff and his buddies kept on laughing, and in effect, encouraging him to do it more. There were large signs saying "NO SMOKING," yet persons were smoking, so we reported this to the bar staff and others, and to our surprise, the court jesters, and the on duty bar staff belligerently approached the offenders, but no more action was taken. This is in clear violations of The Health Act, as people whom choose to chug away in a designated eating only areas are breaking very serious codes, and department of health regulations. The smokers were not asked to leave either. The bar staff blocking our view of the took a very lapsed view of the breaches of the health act prohibition on the use of smoking in smoke free zones. One good thing, we complained to a manager, and that person said "they would look into the matter." I hope they take a very serious view of the mishaps and negligences of the staff memeber, and his cronies, and also sort through connection matters well ahead of time, so patrons can enjoy the venue, entertainment, and a fun time out on rifht on schedule. The hired staff, that choose to take a cursory view of such blatant abuses of the health act, and abstruct or restrict patrons from enjoying the entertainment provided by Homebush Hotel, they should be given a very strong warning never to mistreat or mishandle patrons. It's one thing to make a customer, it's an entirely different ball game to keep them coming back. Not a place on my bucket list the next rare time I choose to enjoy a popular sporting game, or any other time for...

I was so upset and unhappy with their customer service. First of all, I ordered a cheese burger with chips only from the kids menu which they have from the daily menu and they charged me $28 plus 15% service charges on top of the bills which equivalent to $32.20 for the total bills. I went ahead to talk to the waitress why charged me extra fees and then she told me it’s a weekend surcharges which starts from last weekend and I wasn’t feel happy about it without any notice and she short charged me about $0.80 cent without giving me the change back. After a while, the guy as a supervisor told me to leave the club without a valid reason and all he told me was just leave the club and I was not welcome anymore to come and have drinks here at the club. He also gave a security staff a huge pressure to evade us from the club and that’s not right thing to do as a bad customer service. Just because I wasn’t happy they over charged me with the weekend loadings 15% on top of the bills that it’s absolutely ridiculous that was happened in Australia. I will lodge a formal complaint to the CEO Gi from the “‘HOMEBUSH CLUB” to fight for my justice and fairness as a consumer and local resident nearby the club. As a result, I will rate them 1 out of 10 for this poor customer service and because I have no choice otherwise I would give them a negative score based on the customer service level they provided me which I had never ever experienced it...
