Hornsby Railway Hotel — Restaurant in Sydney

We had our work christmas party here 2 wks ago. Had some drinks (bar lady was amazing she's a sweetie) then bought some wine at the bottlo as we headed out for dinner. There was about 20 of us. A few hrs later returned with my friends. All 3 got in and the security at the door checked my ID and told me to check in. The QR code wouldn't scan on my phone. Suddenly another security guy (Tall with brown/reddish hair+beard) walks out and says 'You're not allowed to come here you had drinks here before & bought drinks at the bottlo'. Since when is having pre-drinks or buying drinks there a discrimination to not be allowed in?? THERE WAS NO SIGN in your facility or bottle shop that said this. And btw we weren't drunk we went out for dinner. I said to the security-you're racist towards your own kind. Then he started swearing at me and kicked my 3 friends out. The reason I said this to him is because I felt discriminated against. I was the only brown person and my 3 friends were caucasian. Very disappointed with this security's behaviour. So disrespectful and rude++ The other 2 security guys just stood there and said nothing. Will never come back here again. Very rude and disgusting...

Embarrassing by bar 3

We had a birthday function last night date 26sep I was the one of the guest in that function. One of your woman staff I guess she is a bar tender she was very rude with me. After finish dinner their was no glass to drink water. While my friend ask for glass she wasnot happy So i drank water by bottle which was in my table it was half bottle of water. while I was drinking water that woman came and grap bottle from my hand saying no no no and showing her anger throw all the water in sink. I understand I did wrong drinking wate from bottle but the way see did its really embarrassing infront of my people. If I can't drink water from bottle she should give me a glass if she not happy to doing this job why she is for there? but she didn't may be it is not big issue for you but for me it' s really big think about my side...

The Service and professional conduct from the young gentleman on the bar last night 10/2/23 was commendable and he is an asset to the hotel. After I missed my connecting train home I lugged my suitcase, was tired after work and felt unsafe loitering around a deserted train station for around 3 hrs post midnight for next train. Upon enquiring about a room for the night I was told regretfully that there's no availability once the duty manager leaves for the day.

Once again thanks to the young man who offered me a kind service, a feeling of safety and a makes a mean espresso! It'd be great if the duty manager might see fit to design a procedure following his finish time for such circumstances that surely couldn't be too uncommon given...
