I was fortunate to find this place was open on a quiet Saturday morning. Several other patrons arrived just before me, providing some clues as the venue's popularity. The staff here were friendly and efficient, and took my order of a small flat-white coffee, a halloumi wrap, and a cookie. Having paid, I took a seat outside and waited. My items arrived after a very short wait. The coffee was nice and hot, just right for a cool autumn morning, and tasted nice and strong. The halloumi wrap was very light and fresh, and was delicious. The cookie was suitably moist, and fresh. A very satisfying meal, recommended.

I’m embarrassed to say I had low expectations of a deeply suburban cafe with basic fit out, while waiting for a train - my prejudices were quite wrong! Really delicious and extremely fresh chicken avocado wrap... was it the crunchy lettuce, fresh tomato, tasty avocado or light garlicy mayo?! Well priced at $9.50. Great mocha too. I got a second one to go. ☺️ A simple unassuming owner-managed place, where they just care and get the details right. Recommended.

[This review is for coffee/service only] Cute little coffee shop on station street in Hornsby opposite … you guessed it … Hornsby station. Despite the location it is actually quite busy … and with good reason … the coffee and service are both great. Warm and friendly staff greet you upon entering; the wait is minimal; and the coffee is delish. ‘nuff said - concise and fast - just like the service.

Coffee: Delano Coffee - Alegria Blend (Roasted in Wollongong) Passion: 8/10 Crema: 7/10

It is a great sign that new cafes are popping up around Hornsby, but when they are on the "other" side of the tracks, it can be hard to notice them. This cafe, open now since Aug 2012, has only just grabbed my attention as I was wandering around Hornsby Station. It offers a nice escape from the station bustle and likely gets a good range of through traffic.

As for coffee, they are using another brand of coffee that I have not seen before. Apparently Delano coffee is roasted by one of their friends up in the Gong and so it was the natural choice for them. I would rate it somewhere between an AllPress and a Golden Cobra coffee, with a distinctive level of dark, robust (milk dependant) coffee. While I am much more likely to recommend The Refinery Espresso cafe as they roast in house and really care for each coffee, the guys here will be able to make a robust, strong flavoured coffee, which avoids the industrial burn of other unmentionable brands. Sure my mac had too much milk and froth, but I am sure 90% of people wouldn't care that much.

So as cafes go, these guys have a great location for the ever expanding Hornsby, they make a decent coffee, and have a secluded space inside with #powerwhoring available and free WiFi. Not only that, they've avoided the major brands and are supporting an apparently ethical coffee roaster. That's a lot of thumbs up.

N.B. The have #powerwhoring in between the couch and the table in the back room. They have public...
