The food is great pizzas are/were good.. I say are or were because each time I buy, I get to see or taste different and that is because sometimes they put a decent quantity of cheese on pizza and sometimes there is not enough cheese .. it was too dry that is not my problem, my problem is with the service and the attitude of the people there.. they serve different for different people and very rude sometimes.. they take extra if we pay by card and they even mention it until unless we ask. There should be some note or inform us before charging $1 extra when we pay by card.. this was too much to charge for using a credit card. for whatever we ask like sauce or chili oil, they say "Usually we charge extra for this, etc.." they gave so little that I just could not believe it.. whereas I saw someone else getting so much in a big container, and without asking they gave it.. I do not understand why they treat people like this... Every time I say to myself "I do not want to go there" but just with the hope that this time it will be better I go and again get disappointed in some way.. I am fed up...
Read moreThe owner of Zi Teresa runs this place like a private clubhouse, not a restaurant — blatantly favoring his friends while paying customers are treated like a nuisance.
The entire dining room was filled with his mates, and when they needed more tables, he came over and ripped our plate away the moment we finished. His friends glared at us until we got the hint and left. It was rude, unprofessional, and honestly disgraceful behaviour from someone running a public business.
The pizza? Mediocre at best. Definitely not “authentic Italian” as the reviews claim. The place itself is old, dirty, and clearly coasting on reputation and favoritism.
Unless you’re part of the inner circle, expect to be rushed out the door. An absolute embarrassment of a dining experience.
And speaking of reviews — it’s hard not to question the legitimacy of all these glowing ratings. Are they from real customers, or just more of the owner’s inner circle propping the place up? Because nothing about this place reflects the praise...
Read moreThe BEST pizza and pasta place in the Hornsby and Wahroonga area! We had the fettucine boscaiola, penne boscaiola, and the Australian pizza.
Authentic, nothing fancy, it’s all about the food and the feeling of a great old fashioned pizza place with classic furniture that’s seen better days, nothing but an amazing feed at an affordable price and great service.
Expect rustic chairs and tables from the 1980s but who cares, as the food is amazing and to honest it adds to the experience! My daughter who doesn’t like being in public pics wanted to jump in the photo to advertise how delicious the food is!
Jesse and Bipen were super friendly and I would HIGHLY recommend. So much better than the usual mass produced pizzas.
We are coming back...
