Arrived at the store with my bicycle which was empty less the staff there and a single customer seated at a table near the door as well as a couple at the counter ordering.
The first thing i hear from the person i assumed to be a manager, elderly gentleman with greying hair who I believe is called Roni, was: "buddy, hey buddy, you cant bring your bike here, what if you hurt one of my customers here?" To which i asked even if it was just to get some takeaway? And he said yes, you can park it where you can see it outside.
First and foremost working in retail myself, that is quite possibly the worse way to greet a customer who has just stepped into the store.
Secondly, i was not seated on the bike or riding it in the store, i was walking in alongside the bike.
Third, to condescendingly speak to me in that manner and insinuate that I would hurt a customer with my bike just being parked neatly out of everybody's way near a wall, standing on its own in an empty store is ridiculous.
Fourth, there is nowhere to park the bike outside the store that would not obstruct the footpath outside the door which would impede everyone else walking along that strip whereas it would not impede anybodys way where it was in the store (more than 2 meters away from anyone, not in the way of any path in or out of or around the store)
Fifth, the wait time for food is ridiculous on the multiple occasions that i have visited this store in particular, despite the store barely having anyone in and on multiple occasions have arrived home only to realise that food is missing from the order.
Absolutely horrible experience in all regards.
That older gentleman by the name of Roni should not be in customer service if he does not like serving customers.

Read moreThe customer service displayed by manager Roni was absolutely appalling. It was busy time and my order was taking long, which I didn’t mind. However, my docket number appeared on the screen and I came up to collect, but then the number disappeared on the screen.
When I asked the manager, who was the primary front of house staff at the time, he got angry with me and told me to be patient as everyone else was also waiting. He pointed to another customer and said they got their order first because they ordered before me - when I corrected him and said no they are order number 269 and I am 264, and I remember them being 2-3 places behind me in the queue, he got even more mad and raised his voice. I asked him to “please be civil” and he mocked my words by mimicking them. Absolutely ridiculous behaviour from him.
If I was simply told, your order is coming, sorry about the delay, I would have been content and continued waiting. There was no need for condescension and juvenile mimicry. How is he a manager at a fast food chain when he can’t handle the basic stress that it is associated with? They need to provide better stress management training to...
Read moreIt's unfortunate such a conviniently located Hungry Jacks is going to waste. I've now lost count the number of times I've been given the wrong order after using the drive-through service. I once had to drive back to have our family take-away corrected.
Today, the young lady at the drive-through pay counter was even swinging the swipe machine while looking away waiting for me to tap my payment. I couldn't even reach the machine. Had to ask her to bring it closer. Order took long that they asked us to park the car at the front entrance (as usual) and wait for our order, which defeats the purpose of a drive-through. Got home, and guess what, wrong order again.
Going by the consistence in poor customer service and wrong orders, I'd be surprised if management reads these reviews. But maybe the reviews could help the next customer on what to expect, or explore...
