Went through the drive-thru recently and had one of the most frustrating, infuriating, and downright disrespectful encounters I’ve ever experienced at a fast food place. The girl at the window, name tag said Michelle, clearly had no interest in doing her job from the moment I pulled up. She didn’t just mess up my order, she did it with an attitude that made it painfully clear she couldn’t be bothered in the slightest. When I calmly pointed out that my order was wrong, she didn’t even try to fix it. She just rolled her eyes at me, let out this exaggerated sigh, and gave the most passive-aggressive, insincere “whatever” of a sorry I’ve ever heard. Not only did she not correct it, but the look she gave me was like I was wasting her precious time by daring to expect basic service. She didn’t even pretend to care. It was pure rudeness with no effort to hide it.I’ve worked in customer service. I get how hard it can be. And I have a daughter in hospitality too, so I know not every customer is easy. But this wasn’t someone having a rough day. This was someone who clearly hates dealing with people and makes no effort to hide it. She was cold, hostile, and visibly annoyed by me even speaking to her. I wasn't even being difficult. I just wanted the correct order. What makes it worse is that this is not the first time I’ve seen her acting like this. I’ve spotted her on other visits, once near the bathrooms, phone in hand, just standing around with a smug look on her face, completely detached from anything work-related. She wasn’t on break. She wasn’t hurrying anywhere. She was doing absolutely nothing while the rest of the staff looked flat-out overwhelmed. No name tag on, barely in uniform, and no urgency at all. And that same entitled, “don’t talk to me” energy was still there. She treats the entire job like it’s beneath her. Like customers are beneath her. She speaks with this sarcastic, almost mocking tone that makes you feel stupid for even asking for help. The way she talks to people, even her coworkers, is nasty, eye-rolling, and dripping with contempt. I don’t even know how someone like that is allowed behind the counter. The most frustrating part is that management seems to be completely ignoring it. Either they’re blind to her behavior or they just don’t care, and honestly, both are a problem. How is someone like Michelle still employed when she makes the experience actively worse for everyone around her? She drags down the team, ruins the customer experience, and clearly couldn’t care less if she’s doing the job right. I didn’t leave Hungry Jack’s just annoyed. I left feeling flat-out disrespected. I paid for a simple service, and instead I got treated like a burden. I got eye rolls, the wrong food, and blatant attitude from someone who shouldn’t even be interacting with customers. If this is the kind of employee Hungry Jack’s is happy to keep around, then that says more about the management than anything else. Michelle is a walking red flag. She doesn’t care, and it shows in every word, every look, every action. If your store values customer satisfaction at all, she shouldn’t be anywhere near the...
Read moreLast night, I visited the Hungry Jack’s drive-thru to order food for myself and a few friends, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing to some extent.
I was served by a black girl whose name tag read Winni. From the very beginning, my order was entered incorrectly. I politely pointed out that the items showing on the screen were not what I had asked for but instead of correcting it, she repeatedly brushed me off with, “okay drive-thru, drive-thru.” That response alone was unhelpful and unprofessional at the very least, my order should have been checked and corrected before I was asked to move forward. I calmly asked her to please read my order back so I could confirm it. Rather than addressing me properly, she slammed the window shut in my face mid conversation and immediately began taking someone else’s order.
When she finally reopened the window I asked again for her to read out my order. As I expected, it was wrong. I clarified what I had ordered and instead of fixing it, she dismissed me with a sharp “hold on” before slamming the window shut once again. Hello?? Two times is insane! At that point I was fully prepared to leave a very negative review!! but thankfully another staff member stepped in.
At the second window, I was greeted by Arina, who was the complete opposite of Winni. Arina was an absolute angel. She took the time to apologise sincerely for the situation, personally corrected my order and reassured me with kindness and patience after I explained my issue at the first window. Unlike her coworker, Arina displayed empathy, professionalism and genuine care. She completely turned a bad situation around and is a credit to your team.
What I am asking is very simple: please ensure that Winni is properly trained. She was rude, dismissive, and incompetent! Clearly not prepared to handle customers respectfully or professionally. The way she treated me was disgraceful and it reflects poorly on a brand as well known as Hungry Jack’s. On the other hand, Arina was absolutely amazing and very professional and kind and made sure everything was beyond perfect with the food.
Please address this issue!!!! No customer should be treated the way I was at the drive thru last night and staff like Arina should be acknowledged for the positive difference they make. And staff like Winni should also be acknowledged for their...

I had an extremely disappointing experience with (Alli) the manager at this location. Not only was his attitude unprofessional, but he treated me terribly in front of other customers and staff, which was both embarrassing and completely unacceptable.
I went to have dinner with 2 of my friends, I paid $80 dollars and received an incomplete order. I paid for four meals and only received three. The burgers were COLD and everything tasted bland. I went to the counter to ask about the burger missing and explained that the food was cold, to which an employee named Lea replies: How would you like them to be? In a sarcastic tone, to which I reply: I would like my food hot as usual.
Then the manager Alli jumped in and started laughing at me, saying that he was not going to serve me, that I was not going to get fresh meals, kicking me out of the shop, refusing to return my money and patronizing me, asking me to beg him to refund the money.
The level of customer service was terrible, and I felt disrespected throughout the entire interaction. It's hard to believe someone with such a disgusting attitude is in a managerial position.
What a horrible experience, no one deserves to be treated like that. No one had ever humiliated me like this before and made a show of embarrassing me in front of everyone.
I won’t be returning to this...
