Huxley's — Restaurant in Sydney

Food is really good, staff not so much! Tried to call ahead to book in but no one answered. Went to the venue and were told yes there is seating for you but you have to leave by 3pm. We said yes that’s fine no problem. Had our food and at 2:20pm only 5 minutes after our food was finished we got told that we needed to leave. We said that the girl at the front said we had until 3pm and that we just wanted to finish watching the UFC fight that had 2 more rounds to go. Got told no you need to leave now due to covid-19. We then went to the front of the venue where Ugly pizza is and there is a sign maximum of 14 people allowed which means 14 patrons allowed we counted 13 including us which is still within the law. We had a manager tell us to leave with 2 security guards not using social distancing herself to tell us we needed to leave. I can’t believe how we were being treated when we were doing absolutely nothing wrong. Especially when I tried to call and book in the first place. Ordered Beef Nachos. Got Nachos filled with guac sauce and beans (There is a vegetarian nachos. But that's not what I ordered ) The one I ordered was BEEF nachos Had more sour cream, alone, than beef. Had more guac, alone, than beef. He'll there was even more beans than beef (yet NO BEANS WERE SPECIFIED TO BE INCLUDED IN THE BBEEEEFF NACHOS on the menu) Sad effort. Handed my food back in Too hangry and severely let down by this service

Kept hearing how good they were, then I get that poor effort of a meal.... Make it cheaper or change Ur menu info....

Huxleys, American style sports bar is part of the Ferros group, it's a quirky establishment and popular too as it can easily be packed out on major game days, especially if the sharkies are playing so make sure to book in. This is a great spot for the boys to hang out and get a classic wings, burgers and bbq American style feed. They offer a range of craft beers, beer towers and a delicious cocktail menu, but be sure to get their members card so you save your dollars on member pricing. I usually have Buffalo wings with blue cheese mayo to share, the Huxley burger and an IPA (I especially like the hazy Balter), the Southern fried chicken is on point too.
