Honestly this is one of my most favorite places on the planet! So affordable and for one of the best authentic and delicious Lebanese food joints in Sydney!

The staff and owners are friendly, family operated business that’s become legendary in not only Canterbury-Bankstown area but beyond Sydney-Jasmine attracts regular customers from the Blue Mountains just for their food!! The restaurant vibe and ambience is pretty simple and very casual, quite humble with a big sink near the fridge for the customers to wash their hands before eating. When you sit you are greeted with menus, a jug of iced filtered water and steel cups. There is salt/pepper and olive oil on the table. You place your order and within 15-20mins or so you get a whole basket of fresh Lebanese bread and your order. From moist Chicken Schwarma to Mixed plates boasting hummus, babaganoush, tahini, foule, grilled lamb, kafta (Lebanese spiced mince), kibi (a kind of meatball stuffed with pine nuts and herbs and more mince), Homemade garlic sauce, kebab, Fateh, fatoush, tabouleh etc all cooked fresh and fast. We have ordered every single dish on the menu and ALL of them are fantastic!! This place has been in operation for so many years and became so popular that the Jasmines name and brand kind of got franchises out throughout Western Sydney.

But nothing beats the original at Lakemba, and so welcoming to a diverse range of people, friendly, laid back and excellent food for great prices - the undeniable Lebanese hospitality makes your dining experience all the more pleasant....

Hmmm...probably should've read the recent reviews on here before i ordered delivery off menulog.

i ordered a mix plate as well as other items and they did not include a container of tabouli. i called up and they said they had run out of parsley.

that's almost like a chicken shop that has run out of chickens to sell.

parsley is a key ingredient to lebanese food and tabouli.

they ended up giving me a container of fattoush salad to compensate but still...a lebanese restaurant which has run out of tabouli? unheard of.

i have ordered from here multiple times in the past with mostly good experiences, however the standards appear to have gone down of late and maybe this is because they have changed hands. the only redeeming item of food was the falafel and that's about it. the dips of hummous and baba ganoush are usually nice but for the first time it was super acidic like they had dumped a load of lemon in there - too much - it was almost inedible. baba ganoush definitely is supposed to have more of a distinct smokey eggplant taste and not an overwhelming acidic taste. do they drown the dips in lemon as a preservative? that means it's not made fresh daily. they shouldn't think people don't notice.

also, why are they and other lebanese restaurants stingy with the rounds of lebanese bread they give you? we need more! two lebanese breads...

The King of Lebanese Cuisine! Jasmin Lebanese Restaurant is, without a doubt, a Sydney institution and a true gem of a dining experience. This is the kind of place you go to when you want authentic, mouthwatering Lebanese food that is consistently excellent. The quality of the food is simply outstanding. The meats, especially the grilled chicken and lamb kafta, are always perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavour. The Mixed Plate is the go-to order, offering a perfect sampler of their best dishes, from the smoky baba ghanouj and creamy hummus to the fresh, zesty tabouli. And of course, the famous garlic dip—it's pure magic and the perfect accompaniment to everything on the menu. Beyond the food, the portions are incredibly generous, making it fantastic value for money. The atmosphere is vibrant and bustling, with a warm, family-friendly feel that adds to the authentic experience. Whether you're a long-time fan or a first-timer, Jasmin's never disappoints. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and a true taste of Lebanon. It's the perfect spot for a casual family meal or a feast with friends. I can't recommend it...

I'm just shocked at the horrendous food I received last night. I ordered the buy 1 get 1 free Mixed Plate (All Shush Tawouk Chicken) - too good to be true and I should have known better - I didn't know whether to laugh or cry or launch the food. I took a photo and it'll speak for itself. I'm just still in shock. We got dry baby cubes of chicken, the pickles tasted bad, 3 pieces of bread and instead of 2 tabouleh salads got half of 1. SHAME ON THIS BUSINESS. I've never ever left a bad a review for a business but this one I had to because it was absolutely deserving and I don't want another person wasting their money. Literally had to cook eggs to make up for terrible food. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I initially thought I ordered from Jasmin in Bankstown but I knew there's no way because their food is great and they're SO generous so I was relieved when I confirmed it wasn't them.

Very much appalled, Jasmine Lakemba... slow service, small quantity upon what u pay for and they don't provide with complimentary mint cardamon tea. Wouldn't recommend dining here. Auburn at Jasmine they have large servings and comes with a fast service with complimentary cardamon mint tea and it's definitely worth your money. #HonestOpinion #NotDiningInLakembaJasmine #NotRecommended No we were not after free food! It's what you pay for that counts! You made us pay whilst we were dining and secondly comparing to Jasmin Lakemba to Auburn Jasmin1 I'll recommend people to attend #AUBURNJASMINE #Atleast they don't rip you off #NeverDiningWithYourRestaurant #ItsAHonestReview #JustPickUpYourGame #Don'tRipCustomersOff Note: just dine in Auburn Jasmin1 then you'll see the difference with your restaurant....

Honestly I’m becoming more and more unimpressed with this restaurant. I’m writing this still starving and feeling very much unsatisfied. I have been coming here since I was a young girl and this will be the last time I order anything from here. We just ordered two mixed plates for $50 and honestly I’m just shocked at how miserly this restaurant’s servings have gotten. Everything has only been half filled and the portions are just plain stingy. I mean, look at the little piece of chicken. Like I understand there’s inflation but frankly this is absolutely ridiculous. The tabouli didn’t even taste like tabouli and it definitely didn’t taste fresh either. After 15+ years of eating from here, I won’t be returning.
