2 bad experience happened with me in Boishakhi. Normally whenever I bought pre cooked food I bought from Boishakhi. *First bad experience: I bought a box of chicken curry. The chicken curry was maybe 1-2 days old, when I try to eat this then I realised that has bad smell. *Second story: 08/04/2024 I bought a box of goat Curry. The owner suggest me to take this goat Curry. But when I was unbox it try to eat then I can smell that it was lamb not goat. I don't like lamb due to some smell on lamb meat. Why they don't clear that this is not goat, it's lamb. These two times I was tired and hungry that's why I bought it. Now I'll never ever going to Boishakhi. Not only Boishakhi, most of all Bangladeshi restaurant are selling stale foods and doing business by lie. They will...

I stopped by Boishaki Restaurant to grab some food tonight for the week while my family is overseas, and I have to say the experience was fantastic. The Apu who served me was incredibly kind and patient — she took the time to walk me through all the dishes, suggested which ones would be best for takeaway, and even advised me to go with the plain daal since it would last longer. I really appreciated that she was genuinely looking out for me instead of just trying to upsell.

I ended up taking home six boxes along with rice flour roti, and after trying just two of them tonight, I was blown away. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and simply delicious. Can’t wait to go through the rest of the dishes. Definitely a spot I’ll keep...

We usually go to Boishakhi for dinner every now and then. We always enjoyed the authentic home cooked meal. Not one dish gives a feel of restaurant, rather home cooked. We decided that we wanted to order food for our house party. Truth be told, every single guests thought my mother cooked every dish as it tasted so good.
