I recently visited Khushboo Sweets and Restaurant and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The food was far too spicy and I could hardly taste anything beyond the overwhelming heat. It seemed like they used excessive amounts of spices without any consideration for the taste or health of their customers. I don't know how anyone could digest such heavy and spicy food. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

When I first entered into their restaurant, there was a bad smell. Again, as a bangali resturant, I am totally disappointed when I tasted their biriyani. That looks like a biriyani but It tasted something else. I also ordered a Kacchi and Morog Polao and I regret it. Really expected something good as they named Khusboo which is also a famous biriyani house in dhaka.

I tried their Kachhi yesterday, almost at midnight, and was pleasantly surprised that the food was still served fresh. While the Kachhi could be improved to match our traditional taste, it wasn’t bad overall. What stood out to me the most was the excellent service! In particular, their Manager, Ariyan, was an exceptional host.

Ordered 3 boxes of pilau rice, 2 tehari and 2 roasts. Opened one of the pilau boxes and found the rice smelly. Called Khushboo restaurant immediately and advised the staff about it. The staff asked to come to the restaurant and change the rest 2 boxes of pilau rice and get the new ones . Immediately I went to the restaurant to pick up the new boxes and return the previous ones. The owner of the restaurant refused my claim and was reluctant to exchange the food . It was so surprising that I have been advised to change them but when I went there in person they changed their minds. I tried to get the point across that the food was smelly and I reported to the restaurant immediately and sought their assistance. I was told to exchange the boxes.

I left the shop immediately without attempting to get my refund as I was not willing to argue with someone who clearly turned their back. I think this is unfair to advise customers something else but not deliver the promises accordingly. In my opinion this is unethical to deny customers’ complaints , feedback and not open to any suggestions. If anyone is not open to suggestions or feedback, they have a very little scope to grow.

I will never order any food from Khushboo...

AVOID!

As a Bangladeshi, I have visited this restaurant several times with the expectation of finding some authentic Bangladeshi flavors. However, my experiences have been disappointing. During one visit, everything I ordered was stale and worn out. On another visit, the food was reheated in a microwave after being taken out of the fridge, which resulted in it being half-cold. On my last visit, my friend and I both ordered mains, but one of them arrived 5 minutes after we ordered, while the other took 30 minutes. While I was eating my food, my friend was still waiting for him to arrive. We brought this issue to the attention of the gentleman (who may have been the owner), but he responded that we had ordered one item first, which was why the other took longer to arrive. However, we had ordered both at the same time, which we explained to the person who had taken our order. But the gentleman ( aged 40 or over) did not seem to care about our complaint and instead stared at us with large eyes as if he were about to kick us out. And 30 minutes later, both of our stomachs got upset, making us visit the toilets over...
