I booked a meal online and attempted to pick it up via drive-thru about 10 minutes later. They told me they didn't have one of the ingredients ready and asked if I could wait another 7 minutes. I requested a refund. The lady at the window walked away and a manager came over, said hi, and just looked at me. I was tempted to ask if I could help him with something because he looked so lost. Eventually he spoke and I again requested a refund, which he tried to talk me out of, but then agreed to. I noted that the KFC app I ordered through had an option to cancel the order. The manager said to use that option and said that I'd get a refund within a few days. I got home and there was a message in the app that the order had been picked up and couldn't be cancelled. I tried ringing the store for 5 minutes, it kept ringing out. I had to go back to the shop to get a refund in cash. The only reason I gave a 2 instead of a 1 on this review is that they actually refunded me. But the whole back and forth process took about 40-50 minutes between leaving home and getting back the 2nd time, and the store is less than a 5 minute drive from my house. This isn't the first time something like this has happened with this store, and I honestly don't know if I'll give them another chance. Read moreWe frequent this store for burger boxes and wicked wings and generally pretty good, so I leave the one star in place and remove four stars. We knew something was wrong after picking up and driving less than ten mins to Crestwood when my wife noticed the oil had leaked through the box, through the paper bag onto her outfit. See image attached of oil leaking through the box in a short period of time. I don't like the thigh piece but my wife does so reluctant to say no thighs, so they utilise this and dump 5 thigh pieces, 1 wing, 2 drumstick and two ribs. Well done saved all the good stuff for kids and fussy mums. See images attached of the underside of the chicken soaked in oil and clearly wasn't drained properly. Is this why we don't get offered a receipt so we can't get a refund???? Well I'm getting a replacement one way or another. See bank transfer time of order attached and we ordered a family feast no changes whatsoever. The dogs loved it but may pass away sooner than expected. Edit/add on. Read moreI came through drive through a few nights ago a little over an hour before close, ordered some bundle meal for 2 people and the loaded fries but realised they forgot to include cutlery in the bag, no problem, we parked and I went inside the empty store to ask for some, there were multiple workers who saw me standing at the counter waiting and didn’t serve me, one girl packing items into a freezer finally had to be asked to “take my order” but she instead stood up, looked me up and down, and walked off. A boy standing near her kept glancing at me and looking away not wanting to take my order anyway someone finally came up to serve me after I had been waiting for almost 10 minutes in an empty store. When I finally received the cutlery I realised that it was not a knife and fork but a tiny spoon, obviously not what I was after. Appalling customer service and I can’t help to think it had something to do with the fact that they were closing soon as to why no one bothered to serve me, even though my order was placed over an hour before closing time.
