Came here for the first time for a weeknight dinner thanks to an EatClub offer.
The photos and reviews for this restaurant looked decent.
Thereās a great range of raw meats and seafood to cook as well as cooked foods and desserts.
I think the variety was excellent and we could see why it got busier the later it got.
Thereās something there for everyone to appease even the fussiest of eaters.
The instant noodle machine was very interesting as Iāve never seen nor used one before. After dispensing the hot water, I didnāt know you were suppose to leave it on the mini hot plate for it to cook further! It was a staff member who noticed my noodles werenāt looking right at my table and asked me if it was cooked yet. I think she went and asked the manager to check up on me and thatās when he told me itās done wrong and showed me how to operate the machine! 𤯠Very thankful for the attentive and caring staff for such a kind gesture and also for teaching me something new! š
The staff were extremely attentive in changing the grill plates and were also seen cleaning the individual chimneys at each table too after the customers left.
Iām also very surprised the establishment has a soft serve machine and a coffee machine.
Another buffet-style Korean BBQ restaurant I visited in Blacktown did not have these amenities so it goes to show the owner/s really take pride in being very generous in running this restaurant.
Thanks Hills Korean BBQ. We may be back in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place was absolutely amazing.
To start I want to say that this was a new experience I had never had and wasnāt sure what to expect but it was definitely worth my while to try something new.
When you first go in you are met at the counter and you pay a standard fare per person (I think itās something like $60, so not super cheap but trust me, itās worth the money) then you get seated at a table with a cooktop in the middle. To get your food, you take a plate to the buffet where there are all sorts of meats and fish (beef, pork, chicken, squid, fish. With this meat, you take it back to your table and cook it yourself on the cooktop. Now I have to say, this meat was premium and there was no limit to what you could take, assuming you ate it all in the building. Along with meat there was pre- cooked meats like schnitzel, nuggets and pork as well as things like fries, rice, sushi as well as salads or all kinds and much more. Now once you have stuffed yourself with the main food, you can go up the back and get the dessert food, like ice-cream, fruit platters, chocolate, yogurt and many more options. There are many drinks that come with the payment and there is no limit to how much you can eat, as long as you do eat it and it stays in the building. The service is amazing and the facilities are amazing. A great place for all ages, I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreExtremely disappointed in the management of this place. EXTREMELY overpriced (45) for the UNDERWHELMING service they provide. With that price, you can opt for a much more fulfilling kbbq experience at any other buffet or normal restaurant.
They run out of the popular cuts of meat early on in the evening (7pm). What boggles my mind is how a BUFFET, where their sole selling point is the "unlimited food" can RUN OUT of food- especially the cuts that people come to kbbq for (short ribs, brisket, wagyu steak). Other kbbq buffets would laugh at this.
The management staff were also very unhelpful, not responding to request (not sure if it's because they don't know how to speak english). The floor is run by only 2 people- not even near enough people to run the place with the number of customers they serve. I noticed the older staff being lazy at the back doing nothing and chatting, while the 2 younger part timers are struggling to run the floor by themselves.
The management of this place is sickening, they clearly just care about the higher ups turning over a profit at the expense of US (the customers) and the part time workers. I would not support...
