Kirrawee's Quick Shot Cafe — Restaurant in Sydney

Worst staff I've ever experienced, 1 star is a compliment. Being a local I've attempted to purchase things a few times with the benefit of the doubt it was just a one off bad experience. But unfort after 5 or so attempts it isn't, they are rude, incompetent, extremely slow and if you ask for a slight variance on an item you better be prepared for the attitude. Straw that broke the camels back was ordering B&E coffee breakfast special, being a hot day I'd prefer a cold coffee/latte (maybe a strange thing but very simple to do and never ever had any cafe question it). Was told that's not part of the special and it can't be done, I tried to explain it's the exact same as a regular coffee/latte just don't heat the milk up. Again the rude staff member said this is not the special and it won't be done. So I Asked if I wanted an extra hot coffee is that allowed and he said yes, so I asked why can't you make a cold one (even explaining it's less work, just pour milk straight from the fridge). Again I was meet with extreme attitude and told that isn't the special and it won't be done. So on principal I left and won't return. Quick Shot is almost always open when everywhere else is closed, especially on public holidays, which I love. They're always willing to serve you even a few minutes before close (for takeout), and the service is always friendly.

Food is really good, with a varied menu at reasonable prices. It's well presented and very flavourful, and the kids menu is really good too.

I'm not a huge fan of the coffee, and the latte art isn't typically great. It's Campos coffee which I've had better elsewhere, so I think the machine just needs dialing in a little differently, but that might just be personal preference.

The decor inside is pretty... hectic, with a lot going on and not much space. Outside is a little better but you're sitting on a main road (though I think that's fine personally, and they have covers and shade screens to help).

Highchairs are available, but they are very worn and pretty dirty.

Update to my previous 4 star review - cafe has gone WAAAY downhill. Staff are pleasant enough most of the time, however the coffee is awful and the food is greasy and overpriced. The last time we ordered take away breakfast rolls and iced coffee we waited for almost 20 minutes and watched other customers come and go before the staff came out and asked what we were waiting for - then the bolted to the kitchen and we had another 10 minute wait while they started our order. Eventually we got our rolls but our coffees were given to another customer and we had yet another wait. To top it off the screwed up our rolls. Not a good experience...
