The team at Knight's have been pulling some of the best espressos and ristrettos from their stockpile of Campos coffee for years, with smiling and friendly service. Their main weak point are the pastries from Lux bakery, which were a good choice years ago but in recent years I've had here and elsewhere soft lacklustre almond croissants from Lux that I've thrown out halfway - they just aren't of the standard that they used to be. Before Knights opened up a year or two ago - Coffee around Haymarket was a bit of a problem. Knights is hands down the best place to go for coffee. The Baristas are very friendly, will know your name and order after only a couple of visits, and consistently make coffee that tastes great. Even better, they are always well staffed and fast. Dont let the crowds put you off from ordering here.. You still get your order after only a couple of minutes even when there is more than 20 people waiting.. Knights Coffee and Tea is the absolute best. Located at the goods line end of the TAFE arcade underneath George Street, Cyrus and his team pump out amazing coffee each and every day with a smile and a friendly welcome and goodbye.

They know absolutely EVERYONE by name and their order which never ceases to amaze me. You’ll find people standing waiting patiently for their coffee because they’d never consider going anywhere else as it’s that good.
