Read moreOne of the happiest places in Sydney. Participating in some of the events here can be life changing. I've also been to a few functions at Ambush (of which is now closed to make way for Palace Cinemas) that have been life changing in my business; one of which was a Vivid Ideas event that has inspired me to learn how to code. Plus I was grateful to attend a pickle making workshop in the workroom through Cornersmith today - I had a blast :) Thank you so much Central Park Mall for putting this event on. The workroom is also a great space to get a bit of freelance work and some study done; and the ping pong tables next door are a treat. The eateries are also lovely, and you can charge your phone here for free too. Also fun to play chess and jenga outside. Have been to many of the cafes, and have also purchased items from a couple of the shops here. And the bank I use is now here too. Love it when Vivid Sydney is here also; especially the silent disco on Saturday nights during that time. I have also enjoyed the outdoor yoga sessions near dining district. Lovely to see the residents walking their dogs nearby on the lawns. A great social hub, I love it here. Was so close to living at Central Park, yet this locale is only a 30 minute walk from my home. Definitely a happy place for business and leisure purposes....
Read morePeople do not treat the park/garden areas with respect. There are food containers, half eaten chicken bones, plastics, papers, etc... all over the place. There are about 5 rubbish bins for the entire park, always FULL TO THE RIM, and spilling all around the bins. The grass DOES NOT GROW here. so now it has been replaced with PLASTIC GRASS in one of the areas. The soil is so "CLAY'ish" that it is wet ALL OF THE TIME!... even after an entire week of no rain. The grass on the biggest grassed area is patchy at best, and looks RIDICULOUSLY BAD! The BBQ area grass is GONE!... not just gone in the last week, it has been gone for months and months. The area from the street to the BBQ and beyond is so worn out that is just a BROWN uneven pathway. People avoid to sit on these area anymore, unless they sit on the sandstone steps so they do not get their pants wet.
This place HAD LOTS OF POTENTIAL. Mismanagement has led to this 3rd world country park. I would give ZERO STARS, but that is not allowed in this review.
I would not suggest this place to my...
