Cool 👌 place to shop, coffee or drink 😁cool vibe for hanging out Get set for next level entertainment, shopping and dining from dawn till dusk and beyond at Central Park Mall. Over 40 retailers housing dozens of brands, designer fashion, diverse eateries and fresh game time experiences await. This iconic precinct is bordered by glorious green space for outdoor events, I love the vertical garden and spice Alley!Central Park Mall, located in the vibrant Chippendale precinct of Sydney, is a dynamic hub for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Known for its striking architecture, including the famous vertical gardens, the mall offers a unique and inviting atmosphere. It's a convenient and well-rounded destination for both locals and tourists. The Mall and Its Shops Central Park Mall isn't a massive, sprawling shopping center, but it's well-curated, offering a diverse range of retailers. You'll find a good mix of fashion, homewares, and specialty stores. * Fashion and Retail: The mall features popular brands like adidas, Superdry, and Glue Store for streetwear and casual looks. For footwear, you can check out Hype DC and Foot Locker. Other well-known names include Daiso Japan for homewares and unique finds, and W Cosmetics for beauty products. The presence of a Woolworths Metro on the lower ground level makes it a convenient spot for grocery shopping. * Dining: The food scene is a major highlight. The mall's eateries cater to various tastes, from casual bites to more substantial meals. You can find a good selection of Asian cuisine, with options like Sunny Seafood Restaurant for authentic yum cha, and Uobei Sushi for high-quality "kaitenzushi" (conveyor belt sushi). Other food choices include Anita Gelato for a sweet treat and a variety of cafes. * Entertainment: Central Park Mall goes beyond just shopping and dining. It's home to Palace Cinemas, a great option for catching a movie, and Fortress Sydney, a gaming complex with PC gaming, board games, and an arcade. These entertainment options make the mall a popular destination for a full day or evening out. Nearby Attractions Central Park Mall's strategic location in Chippendale means it's surrounded by a wealth of attractions and points of interest, all within walking distance. * Arts and Culture: A must-visit is the White Rabbit Gallery, which houses one of the world's most significant collections of contemporary Chinese art. The gallery is a unique and captivating experience. The Seymour Centre, a performing arts venue, is also nearby, offering a range of shows and performances. * Dining and Nightlife: The area is a foodie paradise. The famous Spice Alley is just a short walk away, offering a vibrant, open-air hawker-style dining experience with a variety of global cuisines. You'll also find a number of bars and pubs, including The Lansdowne Hotel, known for its live music scene. * Shopping and Exploration: A short stroll will take you to Chinatown, a bustling cultural hub with an incredible array of restaurants, markets, and shops. The area is also close to other major shopping precincts like Pitt Street Mall, World Square, and The Strand Arcade. * Parks and Outdoors: For a bit of fresh air, Chippendale Green is a pleasant outdoor space within the precinct, perfect for a break or a casual stroll. You can also explore the larger Victoria Park nearby. Final Thoughts Central Park Mall is more than just a place to shop; it's a vibrant lifestyle hub that blends retail with unique dining and entertainment options. Its modern design and impressive vertical gardens create a visually appealing and comfortable environment. While parking can sometimes be a challenge, its excellent accessibility via public transport (being close to Central Station) makes it a convenient destination. With its diverse offerings and proximity to a host of other Sydney attractions, Central Park Mall is a great place to spend a few hours or an entire day exploring.

I love this place. I go there every week but almost never to shop. I just like how multipurpose of a business facility it is, with GP and PT location, both regular food and sweet shops, massage/acupuncture store, hair cut store, nail salon, movie theater, as well as ample recreation outdoor space outside. Some of these are the lower basement level, which is partly outdoors. That area also has a bubble tea and sushi store, Woolies and Priceline Pharmacy. It is a really beautifully presented location with decorations and fairy lights both indoors and outdoors, and I still feel like I have not spent enough time there. A lot to look at while outside and it is a mere 15 minute walk from the Cleveland st business area in Surry Hills, which I also frequent.

One of the happiest places in Sydney. Participating in some of the events here can be life changing. I've also been to a few functions at Ambush (of which is now closed to make way for Palace Cinemas) that have been life changing in my business; one of which was a Vivid Ideas event that has inspired me to learn how to code. Plus I was grateful to attend a pickle making workshop in the workroom through Cornersmith today - I had a blast :) Thank you so much Central Park Mall for putting this event on. The workroom is also a great space to get a bit of freelance work and some study done; and the ping pong tables next door are a treat. The eateries are also lovely, and you can charge your phone here for free too. Also fun to play chess and jenga outside. Have been to many of the cafes, and have also purchased items from a couple of the shops here. And the bank I use is now here too. Love it when Vivid Sydney is here also; especially the silent disco on Saturday nights during that time. I have also enjoyed the outdoor yoga sessions near dining district. Lovely to see the residents walking their dogs nearby on the lawns. A great social hub, I love it here. Was so close to living at Central Park, yet this locale is only a 30 minute walk from my home. Definitely a happy place for business and leisure purposes....

People do not treat the park/garden areas with respect. There are food containers, half eaten chicken bones, plastics, papers, etc... all over the place. There are about 5 rubbish bins for the entire park, always FULL TO THE RIM, and spilling all around the bins. The grass DOES NOT GROW here. so now it has been replaced with PLASTIC GRASS in one of the areas. The soil is so "CLAY'ish" that it is wet ALL OF THE TIME!... even after an entire week of no rain. The grass on the biggest grassed area is patchy at best, and looks RIDICULOUSLY BAD! The BBQ area grass is GONE!... not just gone in the last week, it has been gone for months and months. The area from the street to the BBQ and beyond is so worn out that is just a BROWN uneven pathway. People avoid to sit on these area anymore, unless they sit on the sandstone steps so they do not get their pants wet.

This place HAD LOTS OF POTENTIAL. Mismanagement has led to this 3rd world country park. I would give ZERO STARS, but that is not allowed in this review.

I would not suggest this place to my...
