We already loved Krustys . Lovely service. Great coffee, great sausage rolls / Pies and pre made rolls . Yesterday I pulled up with 2 post swimming lesson kids and there was no spot . Whilst waiting for a spot ( I was desperate for something to eat and a coffee ) the wife of the owner saw my predicament and came over to the car . She was so empathetic , took my order and even brought me over the card machine so I could stay in the car ( no spots ) . It was honestly so lovely , she was lovely and I was very grateful . Krusty's pies are amazing. Only critique is their variety, all pretty standard fare, however they do massively excel at standard fare. If they could add more chunky steak options or some originality in their fillings. For example to make a satay sauce: all you need is peanut butter, sugar & coconut milk/cream (add some garlic & ginger if you're feeling feisty). It will taste a million times better than jar sauce #deathtojarsauce. Their pie pastry is hands down better than anywhere else (including upper crust in collaroy). Krusty’s Bakery is my local go to. Best coffee with a homemade coffee blend created by Joe. Great to have the options of soy, almond and lactose free milk. And they have the best Fresh Cream and Jam filled Sponge cakes!! The Chunky beef pie never disappoints! Would recommend going...
