Tall older person (no man talks to women like he did) is very rude. When a shop has local customers they obviously don't think they need to be civil to potentials. Shame because the food looked good. I work in customer service and I would never talk to a person like that. Very disappointed.

You have asked for specifics? I am not a local and was not used to the ticket system. I entered, with a ticket to ask if it was for the ordering or for picking up. I understand that it must be annoying you to have people asking questions all the time, but you didn't even give me a chance to open my mouth. I was firstly ignored for 5 minutes and then asked repeatedly "what ticket number are you" without even being able to answer. It was very rude. You don't have to talk to people in such a manner.

If you had of simply explained nicely I would have stayed around and been a paying customer, maybe even returned. But you didn't, you made me feel insignificant. If you talk to other customers like that its a wonder that you even...

Also sorry to give a clearly hard working business 2 stars but just being honest here. Had some food from here 6 months prior and remember it being far nicer. This time around after waiting 30 mins to order (happy to wait if the food is on point which it was not), I ordered and shortly after recieved the food. The batter on the fish was soggy and unappealing and the fish itself although swimming in oil was dry and rubbery. Calamari was also soggy and below average. Everything I ordered was lacking salt, no lemon wedges or tartare was offered or included so once we sat down to eat we had nothing to try and improve the experience. Being fussy on the final comment I know but in the age of cheap and readily available enviro friendly packaging options the giant polystyrene trays also seemed a bit off. Sorry guys to give this 2 star to this hard working crew but waiting outside in the cold for an hour to buy some fresh mussels on a week night is way too long. Change your system covid waits like this are not relevant anymore. The service is a take a number and wait for at least half an hour or more before you're allowed in to even order your food! And then for some reason there is this interminable wait to order and then even longer to get your food. The fish n chips are very expensive and good quality so not complaining about the quality but the waiting time is untenable just not worth it!!
