I would definitely recommend this place for a dinner and any gathering. The place is spacious and reminds of Nepal.Been here in Sydney for 7 years and never had best thakali set like this here.I was here on 10th of october (Saturday) at around 9 I guess. The restaurant was crowded a bit. I scrolled down the reviews and found one negative review of a lady. I agree the food came slower. I guess she was beside our table. One of the waitresses with blond hair was serving us and the table at our side. They were asking for their food. She Seemed quiet unhappy taking the orders as well. But that is compeletely fine, happens sometimes when its busy. We, being customers need to understand as well. Some of the larger groups kept on calling the staffs for spoon, glass, plates too much. I was watching everything at the restaurant. The phone kept on ringing which was quite irritating but the staffs on the floor tried to get them sooner as they could. Must salute the chef, waiting staffs for such a beautiful service. The staffs were welcoming and smiling no matter how bad the customers were yelling at them. The song added a beautiful environment. The restrooms were super clean and the table was super sanitized.Car parking is a bit problem, you have to park it at the council parking.Thakali chicken set and Momo platter was the best.Cant wait for my day off and visit this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went to Laltin yesterday for the first time and unfortunately, our experience was not good. We ordered thakali khanaa set ani yogurt chahi ali smelly thyo ani didn't taste fresh as well. One of my friends went to the staff to notify them about the dahi. Hamile chahi hamlai kei bhayena but aru customers lai chahi yo serve na garnu bhanera bhaneko thiyem. She went to the kitchen and brought naya dahi, but it smelled the same, so we didnāt touch it at all. Later, when the staff came to clear our table, she asked why we didnāt have the new dahi. We told her it smelled the same, and she replied, ākhai aba hajur haru ko taste na mileko hola, yo dahi ta fresh ho.ā We explained that it wasnāt only about the taste, but the smell was off, so we didnāt eat it. Then she responded, āaba kitchen bata gakao chaina bhancha tapai haru ganako bhannu huncha khai k ho.ā Thatās not how you respond in customer service. We didnāt even ask for new food, a refund, or anything else, we just wanted to inform them so other customers wouldnāt be served spoiled dahi or whatever the issue was. The staff really needs training on how to handle such situations. Plus, she could have smelled the dahi herself, but instead, she didnāt even check and was trying to blame us. Honestly,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe ordered a Chicken lollipop, bhutan set, jhol momo, Chicken Biryani and Sukuti Chowmein. The presentation was nice but the nice part ends right there. Food was averageā¦.not as expected from all the good reviews and above average rating we saw online.
Bhutan set and biryani were nice thatās why 2 stars seems fair while the rest of the food were not very satisfying. Chicken lollipo were average.
The jhol momo had a funky smell to it..the sauce had already gone bad and tasted very sour. Well I expect to have a Nepalese restaurant to have decent momo at least but they were serving stale one which is not acceptable. Same goes with the sukuti chowmein..whatever meat was used had already gone badā¦. We did see another table returned their momo right after we placed ordered thatās when I was already regretting ordering momo. Well, I certainly wanted to return the food but my friends didnt wanna be rude by returning it. Surely not returning to this place again. Maybe we didnt order the good stuff from the menu but the experience was good while having a good...
