I cannot fault the friendliness of the staff. Now for the bad. I have visited Lighthouse around twenty times in the last twelve months, and never once have they got my sandwich order correct. I have learnt that if I don't actually stand at the counter and watch every move they make I will end up with a whole heap of things I didn't order, or with ingredients missing. And we're not talking about highly individualised sandwich orders here - we're talking bog standard lunch time favourites. I don't understand why this happens because when you place your order the person makes an entry into the computer for every ingredient you mention, yet I always have to interrupt the person making the sandwich because they are getting it wrong. Or I forget to supervise them and get home with something that I don't want.

Read moreI ordered a small cappuccino and noticed on the screen as I was paying, an 80c charge for lactose free milk that I did not order. The coffee was extremely sweet (maybe because it was lactose free milk?), like it had condensed milk in it or something and a couple of clumps of powder (maybe chocolate powder?).
Also scanned their "forgiveness" qr code while waiting and got some pretty uncomfortable vibes reading...

I told them I didn't appreciate it and they didn't even offer an apology. Coffee is average too. definitely won't be returning and will make sure others know how poorly they treat...
