I had my birthday dinner here this evening and the food was standard and overpriced food and the staff service was absolutely horrible. We were given wrong orders four times by a trainee which we initially understood until things started to go wrong with OUR orders and service provided to us.
My sister in law and dad both ordered the same thing but for some reason one had soup and the other one was dry (dish was the spicy beef brisket with hand made noodles). We told the staff and said the soup would be coming on the side. We waited, everyone kept eating until we were actually finished. So we asked the staff if the soup was coming and they acted like they had completely forgotten about it. My sister in law hasn’t even touched her food at all and everyone has already finished!
Then we asked them to bring the cake out. They took some of our dirty dishes away and the rest of the dishes we just put aside for room for the cake. So they brought out the cake and at this point no plates or any cutlery were given to us. We had to ask them for plates (we assumed they would use their logic to give us spoons/forks and a knife as well). We only literally had dirty chopsticks on the table left! Were we supposed to help ourselves with the cake using our hands?! So my brother just helped himself with cutlery that was by the wall where the staff was.
We’re paying customers! We didn’t get any proper apologies from the two staff waiting on our table (Trainee and Joe). I was very upset at this point and wanted to speak to the manager which I did after my brother paid for the meal. She was very apologetic but that was it. Her excuse was that the staff was new and needs training. I have to say it was very disappointing and it wasn’t an...

We always came here every single time and not once we had accident. we always order the same menu every single time. my son has anaplyhaxis to peanut. so yesterday after he ate the gyoza he felt sick and vomit. we thought he was sick because of the change of weather..he didnt even finish his dinner so we continue to the san churros as per usual routine then he felt really sick and floppy and we had to call ambulance to bring him to hospital because of the allergic reaction. we only found the last minute from the security office of bankstown SC that this place using peanut oil. I was shocked.our usual dinner outing has gone horribily wrong.lucky my son is ok now. he got discharge from ER the same night. If only they notify the customer they have a change of ingredients that would be nice. I think we are going to say goodbye to this place now and be very careful everytime we go...
Read moreI’ve been a regular at Lucky Cheng’s for quite a while, so when I had a craving tonight, I decided to go back. Unfortunately, I was left extremely disappointed. The menu has changed completely (perhaps new owners?), and many of the original dishes I loved are now gone. I was really looking forward to the Massaman curry, only to find it is no longer offered.
I decided to try the laksa, teriyaki chicken, and pan-fried dumplings, but all of them were incredibly bland. The laksa had very little meat, and both it and the teriyaki chicken lacked the rich flavors I remember from before. The dumplings were mostly dough, with very little filling.
After getting home, I also experienced a severe case of diarrhea, and given the timing, I can only assume it was related to the meal.
It’s tough to write this, but I’m sad to say that I’ve lost my loyalty to Lucky Cheng’s. I won’t be...
