I purchased fish from these guys,so I thought. I chose fresh flathead from the window and the woman weighed it and after that as I turned around I sore her bend down and swap the fresh fish for what I found out later to be ammonia smelling fish,it was obviously old and when I got into my car I could smell it right away. I marched right back in and dumped the entire contents onto the counter in front of 20 other people, in Chinese I said "hochow"Wich means stinking.They were really embarrassed, but that was their problem. Have owned a Seafood W/Sale Retail for the best part of 13 yrs and on a recent road trip from Queensland, we happened to drop in on this place, which I last visited 10 yrs ago. Face has changed with Tony at the helm and I did compliment him at the time, on his quick service, the quality of his product, and the value for money. I bought a $19 piece of grilled flathead which smelled and tasted like plastic/chemicals and was uneatable. The owner came across agro when I took it back and said ‘nothing wrong with it!’. I offered to take a credit as I always like to support small local business, but he insisted on giving a refund.
