I recently dined at Mad Mex in Miranda, and I would rate my overall experience as average. I've visited this restaurant a few times and noticed that there is quite a bit of inconsistency in their portion sizes. One day you might receive a generous helping, and the next time, it may feel like half the usual size. This is definitely an area where they could improve to provide a more consistent experience for their customers.
On this visit, I ordered their nachos. While I appreciated the variety of toppings, I was disappointed by the soggy texture of the corn chips(due to the black beans). The meal could have been much more enjoyable with a crisper base. That being said, the flavours were still decent and the service was friendly, which helped salvage the meal for me.

I asked for an item, and then asked which meats cost extra so I could avoid an extra charge. Then when paying the service person said that the meat I picked did in fact have an extra charge. When I said that they did not say that earlier, the staff member argued saying that they did say it, and there was an extra charge (they did not say it earlier). Like Iām going around to Restaurants scamming them of $1???? Not only this but they then took my meal off the grill straight away and it was still cold when I was eating it.
I work in retail and am very disappointed with the experience.
