Came for bottomless brunch today and unfortunately did not have the experience we were expecting based on all the 5 star reviews.
The pros: lovely staff beautiful interior & nice natural light drinks were good and plentiful, especially the margaritas.
The cons: the price was supposed to be 89 based on the website, but then was actually 99 when we arrived. We were confused about this. food service was VERY slow. They apologised, which we appreciated, but it was still frustrating, especially as we had a time limit on the table. we were not given all the items on the brunch list ( we did not get served the croquettes, bruschetta or the peppers) so the variety was very limited. The menu items in the other reviews looked so much nicer than what we got (which was mainly bread, pasta and potatoes)
Overall, we were disappointed and felt we did not get value for money.
I would like to give this place another chance as I love supporting locals, and the staff were great, but I wanted to share my...
Read moreI have no idea why is this place top rated in Bondi with not so caring servers and uncleanliness. When I visited this place with my friend, it was around 9:30pm and most of the menus were not available. Still, it was fine. However, the leftovers on my given plate and water, sticky cutlery were giving me a bad impression in terms of cleanliness. After we ordered our foods and drinks, our table was still empty but just a plate of oysters with no cutlery or small spoon so that we can eat them with some given sauces. When my friend asked for the cutlery, the server replied with a careless tone and that sounds pretty much like jeers, making fun of my friend’s accent. I hope it was just my gut feeling. But, it wasn’t that pleasant experience with careless hall staffs (wasn’t busy at all) and so damn loud music which makes me feel like I’m in a club. And they were actually dancing lol *Focaccia and buratta cheese with cherry tomatoes were really nice tho And blonde hair...
Read moreWe came here for my friend’s birthday bottomless brunch. There was 14+ of us and unfortunately even though we had it booked, there was not enough space for us AT ALL. 3 tiny tables for all of us was crazy and some of us even had to sit outside, with no table at all. The service was great and the food and drink was good but the atmosphere wasn’t. It was so loud in there, you couldn’t hold a conversation with the people beside you which was a shame. We found ourselves continually saying ‘what?’ Then when we got round to pay there was a 10% added charge for it being on a Saturday which we were shocked with. Considering we had such a huge group and it’s advertised everywhere as being $99, to then be slapped with a bill of $109 was very disappointing. Overall, there should be some changes made to improve customers experience like not overbooking such a tiny venue and not having a surprise charge at the end of it all. Thank you to the staff, they...
