Good pastry, terrible service. I ordered a cheese crossiant, Ham and Cheese Crossiant and a Pan Au Chocolat. I asked if they could heat it up the server said its hot already. I presumed the savoury Crossiant must've been in a heat suite. But as I started to eat it I found that the cheese dripped on the outside of the Crossiant and went hard as plastic as it was in the heat suite for a very long time. Also tasted as if I was chewing on plastic as well. And none of the pastry was hot at all. If you leave pastry in a heat suite it must be 55 to 60 degree. When I found that pastry wasn't hot I threw them away as I was sure it would be full of bacteria cause temperature wasn't cold but wasn't hot either. Terrible experience when you have to throw away 15+ dollars of pastry. Only thing edible was the Pan Au Chocolat which was good. Would've been better warmer. Savoury Crossiant should be stored under 4 degree and be ready to heat as needed by customer. Not left in a heat suite where it's drying by the minute and not to mention heat suite must always be over 55. I had made a comment about the price of the coffee saying it was very expensive and the server looked at me with contempt and asked me if I was from here. I asked hi. To guess. He said obviously not from here. I'm from a different ethnicity but that doesn't mean I'm from not around here. Which is very demeaning. I'm a Bondi local for a long time and I'm well aware of the prices in Bondi. He maybe right and doesn't have to agree with me but you can't treat a customer with contempt and look down on as they are cheap people just cause they don't happen to agree with the coffee price. We all leave on a budget. 30 Cent extra on a coffee is a lot in a year if you have 3 to 4 small coffee a day. Which I do. They definitely not getting my coffee orders anytime soon and it isn't because of the prices. I assumed I would be experiencing French hospitality with high quality food experience. Got neither. Only...
Read moreOnce I’ve seen their huge, big croissant I couldn't resist getting my hands on an enormous croissant that's literally the size of my head! It turned out to be the largest croissant I've ever had, and to my delight, it surpassed all expectations. Its flaky, buttery goodness and incredibly soft texture were simply exceptional. I couldn't have asked for more. You must pre-order it two days in advance and the whole thing was so smooth and simple. It’s not expensive. It’s about $20 to be honest it’s so cheap in comparison with other fancy cross sandwich cost $15 this. This croissant is enough for four people. But who said I shared 😌 In addition have an extensive selection of pastries, pies, and cakes. We had the pleasure of trying their savory Danish with Brie and zucchini, and it was absolutely delightful. The combination of flavors was so good! Their cinnamon roll was another highlight, incredibly chewy and soft, a true delight. I'm already planning my return visit, and this time, I'm eyeing their even bigger croissant. Can't wait! 😜 there coffee was also smooth and creamy which complemented...
Read moreI had the most wonderful experience at Bondi Boulangerie! Fantastic customer service and beautiful products. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted warmly by the staff. The barista asked how my day was going as I waited for my drink. After only a short wait for my long black, I said my thank yous and walked towards the door. As I had not had my coffee yet, I was a bit out of it and forgot my almond croissant. The cashier called out to me and made sure I grabbed it, jokingly asking how I could forget something like that. The coffee was tasty and strong, and the croissant was fantastic. Huge and stuffed with filling, it was well-worth the price. Definitely recommend a trip to the...
