McDonald's Macquarie Centre — Restaurant in Sydney

First I was in the Q then the girl decided to go make coffee and said nothing, I waited patiently and politely. But she never came back, another girl came opened another register and started taking orders and people Q in front of her while I am still standing, so I spoke to the manager who didn’t even act, another girl came and said I will help you, I said thank you and she took my order. Went home and the nuggets wasn’t there and I asked for angus no bacon and it had bacon in it, my meal gone cold and I had to go return my Mrs meal and get the nuggets, asked for the manger and she was like so what can I do for you !? I told her and she asked me what do I want !? The stupidity and audacity !!? I said I just told you and she was like so you want a refund !!? I said no I need my nuggets and to change to the right burger !? She wasn’t happy and blamed it on the girl who took the order, she didn’t apologize or even showed sympathy me telling her that I didn’t even eat my meal because I had to come return my Mrs!! She only changed my Mrs meal and I had to buy a drink again and she was like ahhh I can give you for free !! I said I have money and am not after a free meal !! All I want is the right order and I won’t even eat mine and I don’t want refund I will buy food else where but my Mrs needs her meal … she made me feel it’s my fault after all the trouble I have been through. Not only she showed lack of respect and intelligence but also lack of commonsense and sympathy. You guys need hire someone that can do their job. I will never ever ever step a foot in any of your stores ever again, expensive and taste horrible … now it’s this !!? There are more fast food places that offers better...

1 month later on 24 February 2023: what a difference! Seemed like a lot of training was going on. My Angus looked like it had been put together by someone who was doing a careful job, so that was good, including a good amount of sauce. The patty was still not tasty nor did it look appetising but otherwise a far better experience overall. Could the patty taste be improved so it tastes like meat, please?

My word! The lady with Meow on her name badge is SO good!! Unfazed and pops those busy lunch time orders out so efficiently! Excellent job! It made the wait worthwhile. The actual $8 Big Mac I ordered as a takeaway left a lot to be desired. Big it really isn’t. The patties were very dry and the whole thing was quite tasteless. But the crowds were there and so the $$$$ roll in and why bother about quality when there is enough quantity going...

So we ordered 10 nuggets and a drink, we ordered this online as well, we waited 20 minutes for our food, our number was 160 and the guy there, Mathew was calling out several other numbers all the way up to 193. After 10 minutes of the issue we inquired about where our food is and was told rudely that it was still being made. 5 minutes after the guy sees us standing there for such a long time and seems to start looking for our order in the system, another 5 minute passes and he finally finds it and rudely hands it to us while giving us a dirty look. Did not even bother to apolgise. Maccas is meant to be FAST food, this is really shameful, I would hate to be knwon as someone working at McDonald’s Macquarie as they are so bad. I’m hoping this guy was trained because I would not like someone else that is rushing to...
