I waited approximately 15 minutes in the waiting bay before approaching staff to ask about my order. During this time, I noticed that the shift manager was standing idly on his phone instead of managing the team or assisting customers. When I raised my concerns, instead of apologising or de-escalating the situation, he raised his voice at me.

In total, I waited around 25 minutes for my order. When it was finally handed to me, I discovered that 2 x 20-piece nuggets were missing, despite watching the manager chuck chips upside down into the bag. I returned to the store, and after searching through the bags, the manager confirmed the nuggets had not been included.

When I asked him to correct the mistake, he responded in a snarky and unprofessional manner. I mentioned that my children work at other McDonald’s stores, and that such delays and errors should not occur. At this point, instead of resolving the issue with courtesy, he raised his voice again and told me to “go to another store if I don’t like it.”

This behavior from a shift manager is unacceptable. Not only was my order delayed and incorrect, but I was also spoken to disrespectfully in front of staff and customers. This reflects poorly on the store’s management and customer service standards. Only when this particular manager is on is there issues I’ve had multiple issues hence now writing...

This McDonald’s is close to the hospital my dad has been at for a couple months so it’s convenient to grab something for him whenever he needs a break from his strict diet. That something is always a ham cheese and tomato toastie. Of the 6 times that I have now ordered this toastie, each and every time I have received a SANDWHICH, which majority of the time had one or more of the 4 ingredients missing. After the first couple times I thought I would ask specifically for it to be extra toasted and/or cut in half because I do understand that sometimes things are forgotten or you don’t get what you don’t ask for however I have left the store with the same problem EVERY TIME! If I wanted a sandwich I would have asked for one. It’s laughable at this point and I will no longer be returning to this McDonald’s regardless of its convenience. Not only has thing been a repetitive occurrence but oftentimes when I order through the drive through I am sent to waiting bay for so long that I honestly contemplate leaving without my food. I feel bad leaving a negative review but SIX TIMES? I guess i should have stopped ordering it after the second or third but...
