Nadia’s Cafe Blacktown — Restaurant in Sydney

After being a loyal Customer for many many year's, I can clearly see that this place has gone downhill BIG TIME! 2 days ago my Partner & I decided to have lunch here. I ordered the Salmon Patties & after after attempting to eat it, all I could taste was the massive amount of Tartare Sauce smothering both of the patties. They were very bland & dry & I couldn't taste any salmon in them at all. After a couple of bites I could not eat it. When I advised the Staff member she took the dish away & returned telling me that the 'Owner' tried it & said that 'there was nothing wrong with it at all'. So after being called a 'Liar' this is what I am deeply disappointed by. The Staff member was just passing on the information. So I do not blame her in any way. I will not be going back to Nadia's in future now. I have lost any faith I had in that Coffee Shop. I was shocked by how badly I was treated by a staff member named Cathy during my visit. Her attitude was absolutely unacceptable — she spoke to us in such a rude, dismissive, and degrading way that I felt like I was being treated as if I didn’t even deserve to be there. The way she carried herself, the tone of her voice, and the words she used were so unpleasant that I completely lost my appetite and could barely enjoy my meal.

It was honestly disgusting to be spoken to like that as a paying customer. Cathy acted like she was the boss and we were a problem for simply being there.

On a positive note, Karla and Elise were wonderful. They were polite, warm, and showed good service— the complete opposite of Cathy’s behavior.

I strongly urge management to take this seriously, because no one should be made to feel this way when visiting a café. Cathy's behavior was awful and left me with a very negative impression of the place.

This place has gone downhill!!! Go here if you want overpriced dry tasteless food and warm bench milk in your “ice” chocolate drink. Literally cost us $75 for two dry cheese steak rolls and two iced chocolate drinks. Absolute rip off. We didn’t even eat half our food.. just terrible! Was always happy to pay and just leave but we wanted to mention to quality issue at the counter when paying.. the guy completely ignored our existence when we gave some gentle feedback while paying… then I mentioned that he completely ignored us.. the, I assume, manager said “oh he’s new!!” But also didn’t engage us with our feedback or enquire what was wrong.. it was the lack of customer service that has generated this negative review.
