Only reason for me giving the CBA 3 stars right now is because I've been with this bank since the beginning and never had issues at all. Money had been deducted from my account but it wasn't showing on my latest transaction. I went to the bank and was assisted by Ajaya who wasn't even wearing a name badge firstly so I had to ask her colleague for her name. She was so rude all throughout and just kept giving me attitude. I was already on the transaction page and kept telling her that I couldn't see any latest transaction but she kept sighing and kept asking me to go to the transaction page with attitude. Then she told me to put a dispute and when I asked her how to do it, she said "Excuse me Ma'am" each time and would continue to give me attitude. She kept asking me if I had an opal card and I didn't know how that was even related to my bank card. Then she asked if my family members had or used one. Her irrelevant questions were constant and towards the end, she refused to help me with the dispute and suggested I go to the front. I had honestly had enough and I told her she wasn't of any help at all then asked the young lady at the front for her name and asked her to call the manager since I just had to complain about how rude she was. Hayley, the manager was the most beautiful lady ever. She was so polite and understanding and consistent all throughout. Listened to everything I had to tell her without giving the slightest attitude and had a lovely smile. She helped me without any delay and actually explained everything about what was going on in my transaction. She was extremely helpful and I left the bank happily without having to put a dispute. After my horrible experience with Ajaya, I had in mind to close my account with CBA and move to another bank but after my experience with Hayley, I stayed. She refused to provide service when I popped into Blacktown branch before closing time. The reason was due to having 3 people already in the queue, overtime work if taking me in, security reason, work management, what if A,B,C, etc which are none of my business but CBA’s . She expected me to know the nature of work of each branch and how the traffic is. I asked her how do I know how the traffic goes upon arrival, she said she does not know either which makes nonsense at all!
She begged me to complain if I wanted and go to another branch when I addressed my concern about their trading hour 9am-4pm. She said she would not appreciate the way I talked to her whilst I spoke to her politely and professionally! I asked her why not and she just ignored it!!!
The way she talked was so rude by talking over me all the time which has shown no basic customer service skills of her, she doesn’t know how to listen and communicate!!! She gave her attitude towards customer confidently as she would not give a damn!
I was there seeking a service due to CBA's products, not asking for her help! if she couldn’t manage her work/hour or traffic, sounds like her time management/organisation problem!
