Truly a Vegetarian Paradise! A family run business with tasty vegetarian food and cheap prices.
The place is run by a gentleman Narayan who oversees the kitchen and Manju who makes amazing PaniPuri. Narayan's family members take turns and help him during busy times.
The business is set up on a food truck which has three tables set outside to eat. The business is technically open from 7am to 7pm seven days a week, but their peak busy periods is after work hours and they are usually open until 9.30pm, therefore there might not be much food available early in the morning as they are busy prepping food for peak hour.
For a food truck business they do have a busy menu. They do around 20 varieties of chaats and snacks, bhajjis, jalebis, besan laddu, dhokla and so much more. Then they do certain foods during certain days of the week. Eg: Khandvi on Tuesdays and Mohantaal on order. They do accept credit card payments.
While most of their customers are patient with the wait times, I've seen some customers come in with unrealistic expectations. They expect good tasty food at cheap price but with restaurant quality service. They often don't realise that the staff are always very busy and Narayan is trying his best to look after his customers. His family members are busy prepping food, and packing food for Ubereats and Menulog delivery services. While customers who use the three tables to eat are expected to clean up after themselves, some people leave their mess behind and walk off. Narayan and his team are polite not to say anything and they do their best to clean it inbetween customers orders.
I suggest that when you are in Harris Park and feel like eating tasty vegetarian food at cheap prices, you should definitely visit Narayan's food truck. And while you are at it, you must eat Manju's PaniPuri to...
