Title: "Idly-dosa Heaven for Breakfast Lovers!" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Oh, boy, do I have a love story to share! 🥰 If you're a breakfast enthusiast like me, this Indian restaurant is your paradise! 😍 From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly cooked idly and dosa had my taste buds doing a happy dance. 🕺💃 Let's talk about their idly first – soft, fluffy clouds of perfection that melted in my mouth. You can tell they put heart and soul into making these. 🤤 And the dosa, oh my dosa! Crispy on the outside, and that potato masala inside, it's like a warm hug for your palate. 🥔 But wait, there's more! The coconut chutney and sambar deserve a special mention. They elevate every bite to a flavor explosion. 😋 The staff here is as warm as the food they serve. They treat you like family, and you can feel the love in every dish they prepare. 💕 So if you're in the mood for a breakfast that'll make your day, head to this Indian gem. I promise you won't be disappointed. It's a taste of India that you'll want to savor again and again! 🇮🇳🍽️ Cheers to this delightful breakfast spot! 🎉👏

This is a relatively new restaurant on within the Harris Park dining precinct. It's one of a few Indian/ Chinese places in the area. This is not my favourite though. This restaurant has a separate pani puri cart in the front seating area. We asked to sit out the front of the restaurant because it was a warm night, but we were told that we had to sit inside because the restaurant didn't have responsibility for the front area. The restaurant wasn't busy and I think the staff were a little bored. They came and asked for our orders only a few minutes after we sat down. They also asked us twice if we wanted to order additional food. We didn't. The food was ok, but not great. The vegetable Manchurian was really salty and the sechuan chicken was very spicy, but without much other flavour. They egg fried rice was good and the dosa was perfect. The spicy red sauce that was served with the dosa was delicious. The decor was nice, but it felt a little over done. If you're looking for Indian/ Chinese, then the Bombay Talkies is the better of the two.

We went here on a Saturday evening. It wasn't as crowded as I expected it to be. We got the table in 5 mins. There is a chat stall outside the main restaurant area where you can get pani puri, samosa chat and few more. The restaurant is not very big and they have crammed tables to accommodate 12-15 families. When there are lot of people for takeaway, it gets somewhat congested. Now, coming to the food we ordered: we had ordered crispy veg, baby corn manchurian and veg dum biriyani. Though crispy veg and baby corn manchurian tasted really good, both these items were not crispy at all. But since they tasted good, the lack of "crispyness" was not of much concern. Special mention for biriyani. The biriyani was VERY GOOD. We had asked to make biriyani extra spicy and with "double masala" and it didn't disappoint us. It was flavourful and spicy as well. Overall, 4/5 for the food and 3/5 for the service. I definitely recommend it.

A family friend and I visited this restaurant just before the peak lunch hour on a weekday. The interior was small and cosy and there was Bollywood music playing, a little too loud for the small space. The waiter was friendly throughout our visit and greeted us with a smile. He was patient as we asked him what certain dishes comprised of and was good at explaining.

We started off ordering podi idli which came with chutney and sambar, as well as ghee dosa that came with the same accompaniments. The dosa was crispy as we requested and the idlis were soft and both dishes were delicious. We really enjoyed the fresh coconut chutney.

We then ordered Chicken 65 biryani which took a little longer to prepare (it appeared fresh) and though we ordered mild, I found it spicy, but my friend did not. The chicken 65 masala was yum and the portion size was decent for sharing between two (maybe not sufficient for two blokes with large appetites). It came with small steel bowls of raita (a little watery) and the thick gravy (I liked this).

To finish off, we ordered a plate of vadas, which were also fresh and we ordered a plate of Chicken 65 to take away.

The only thing that was disappointing was that there was no chai or coffee - two essentials especially when having snacks like vada, idlis etc.

As we left around 1.30pm, the restaurant started to get busy with the lunch office crowd.

Overall, we really enjoyed the food, which we found to be very good value for price. We will return to try their famous $1 dosas, and hopefully more of their...

We had our lunch at the restaurent on sunday 22/02/20. We ordered natu kodi biryani which was very nice and we have ordered for a chicken 65 biryani family pack size to take home for the family back in southcoast which was 3hrs drive. We have informed them about it askrd them to pack it a bucket and not in a foil tray. They have agreed to this and packed it in a bucket and gave us. We have come home and put the biryani in fridge for that night and when we opened it the next day at around 9am, it was all spoiled and has a weired smell. I have immedietely called the restaurent informing abouy this in the very morning. They were very rude at me even when i was trying to explain what has happened. When i saw the bucket again then i realisee it was packed in just a ginger garlic used bucket and not a takeaway bucket. I have mentioned it to them why food was spolied. If food was packed properly and sealed it would have not spoiled. When i told them about this and ask and ignored and blocked me. If i inform the issue to food cpunsil rhey will be charged heavy fines. Im not complaining here abput the taste or quality but how they have tried to escape from customer with out solving the issue when its brought to their notice. Attaching the images of the bucket they packed the biryani and tyhe next pic is that we throwed it...

I walked in today and clearly asked to try their one dollar dosa.. the person at billing counter was polite enough to ask us to be seated and we will serve you... The lady walked in with the dosa plate and we liked it so I had read somewhere that they have a limit of 2 dosas per person for the 1 dollar dosa... I asked to place an order for two more to the lady as there was no one else around... She just turned her face off and did not even acknowledge the order... I thought she isn't serving me.. it wasn't a good response to be Frank ... So I proceeded to pay to the counter and she approached me from behind saying excuse me I have ordered for 2 dosas already it's ready... I was astonished as she went on to argue that she acknowledged my order .. by then my partner had left too looking at their customer service.. we genuinely wanted to eat had it she apologised and served us better... Extremely disappointed ... She made a face at me when I said because u did not say anything to my order my husband also left and there is no one to eat the dosa either.. she only went on to argue I have ordered already and it's ready... When was she about to tell that to me ? After I left the restaurant... Not even a single staff to serve u with smile or even ask u what else u require.. if you wanna try some of our...
