I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chatkaaz, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! This gem of an Indian restaurant has truly captured the essence of authentic flavors and warm hospitality. The menu offered an extensive range of delectable dishes, and we couldn't resist trying some classic favorites. The Chole Bhature was an absolute delight! The fluffy bhature paired perfectly with the rich and flavorful chole, creating a harmonious blend of spices that left us craving for more. It was a true feast for the taste buds! The Idli Sambar was another highlight of our meal. The idlis were soft, spongy, and packed with the right amount of tanginess. The accompanying sambar was fragrant and had just the right balance of flavors. It was a comforting dish that brought back memories of enjoying South Indian cuisine. We also had the pleasure of savoring the Prantha Chai, and it was simply divine! The flaky, perfectly cooked parathas were served alongside a steaming cup of aromatic chai. The combination was heavenly and made for a satisfying treat. It was the ideal snack to accompany our conversations and added a delightful touch to the overall experience. The ambiance of Chatkaaz was welcoming and vibrant, reflecting the warmth and hospitality of Indian culture. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure our dining experience was memorable. The service was prompt, and they went above and beyond to cater to our needs. I highly recommend Chatkaaz to all food enthusiasts and fans of Indian cuisine. The quality of the food, the authentic flavors, and the exceptional service make this restaurant stand out. Whether you're craving traditional North Indian dishes like Chole Bhature or longing for a taste of South India with Idli Sambar, Chatkaaz is the place to go! Overall, my visit to Chatkaaz was an unforgettable culinary journey. The combination of mouthwatering dishes, warm hospitality, and vibrant ambiance made for an exceptional dining experience. I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit and exploring more of their enticing menu.

Let's dive in 😉 *The store will be packed during peak times, to experience an Indian ambience you can come during peak times. Dw you'll find a table in less than 20min, thanks efficient manual management by staff and preordering. *Once in the store, the flavours will hit you instantly if not yet, taking you to India itself. *Staffs are super fast and efficient, the chefs even more. You can expect the food to reach in less than 5min of ordering. Staffs all round if you need any help. *Pizzas and burgers available for non-indian people or white people. *Foods will give you a pure authentic Indian taste. Kudos to the team. You'll be completely satisfied, Chat is like a must have item at every table. *Chatkazz sweets is just down the corner if you need to grab sweet on the way back home. **Only drawback, the toilet sees a high volume of usage, it will be better if the team takes care of it periodically to see if it's fit for use. Few customers don't use it properly. Management should step in to keep it clean at all times. The store doesn't have enough parking onsite. And the street parking usually will be without free spots. Disabled personnel or pregnant ladies plan the visit before hand.

This place has varying standards of customers service. Their goal is to fill their tables and get you out as soon as you can for the next person waiting to sit on your table. I ordered takeout this morning, as usual since past 3-4 days. They were giving me good food but service has always been sub-standard. This morning I was asked to wait 20 minutes before my order was ready for pickup which was reasonable given the size of the order. I was basking sun outside as they won’t have space to wait indoors. Asked the outside attendant with glasses when it was 18-20 mins in waiting for the status of the order but was not given any response. Just ignored my request and carried out with her own pursuit of filling tables and filling the waiting chairs. Eventually had to walk inside the store to ask. And there it was “My order siting on the table that was not hot and felt cold to touch” My order was just sitting there and I was waiting outside the restaurant uninformed having paid for the order already. What does it mean? Chatkazz? Do you have an explanation to this? This is very disappointing. Ever heard “service “?

Amazing place and amazing food. I could say it was a good welcome for us in Sydney. We never got such food in Perth and missed Indian street food. But, after eating here we can say we don’t miss Indian street food anymore. Everything was just amazing. I also loved the concept of ordering by app so you don’t have to call someone over and over again for ordering. I would suggest to pay through app too as it’s always a hassle to wait in line for a long time. The quantity for Indo-Chinese could be a bit more to be frank as if you see paneer chilli, it’s a very small portion (though tastes amazing). The only reason for 4 stars is because of the service when it’s too busy. I do understand that it isn’t easy to handle all customers when the place is too busy. But, for simply asking for a take away box, I had to ask the staff 5 times. In the end I went to the counter and asked the cashier who gave it to me. Just some suggestions to make it better. Overall it’s a place to be if you miss Indian street food and want to have the feel of being in India. Just amazing!

First time dining here with a friend. There is a small parking lot right in front of the restaurant, and it is really hard to find parking as there are other surrounding stores. There is street parking available, be prepared to drive around on a busy night. We were welcomed inside, and seated within a reasonable time frame. Cultural music was a bit too loud especially with people on other tables speaking loudly over the music - tables are pretty close to each other. There is an option to order from the table QR code, up at the counter or from the waiter. I asked the waiter if there was any chance that I could have the veg biriyani non spicy, first waiter said yes. Later, a second waiter said it was not possible and offered to order the veg fried rice instead. There was a long wait for the food to arrive (probably because it was busy), food was great and garlic naan was really good. Waiters were checking in to confirm that everything was okay, would recommend

During my Sydney trip, I stopped by this place for lunch. The service was both prompt and friendly, creating a positive impression from the start. Exploring various dishes, I found a mix of hits and misses. The Jini dosa was a standout - uniquely different and undoubtedly delicious. On the flip side, the Misal and masala pav didn't fare as well. The Misal proved to be overwhelmingly spicy, while the masala pav ended up disappointingly soggy. For curry, we tried the khoya kaju, which had a pleasant taste but leaned towards the sweeter side. Moving on to the appetizers, both the dahi puri and chili paneer Frankie were delightful, hitting the right notes in terms of taste and texture. As a silver lining, the prices were reasonable, providing value for the offerings. All in all, while there were some misses among the hits, the quick and friendly service, along with standout dishes, made the lunch experience in Sydney memorable.
