Natalina — Restaurant in Sydney

The main reasons why we chose to eat at Natalie were because, we heard that the food was good, and the prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was festive. When we arrived, we were surprised to see an empty cafe . The host asked us where we would like to sit and we chose a seat in the back near a beautiful Panting . The restaurant looked like it was just pulled out of a Italia vogue magazine. The entire cafe was gray and white, it was really festive, but its what you would expect from fivedocks best Italian cafe. I liked the lighting it was warm neon and all lit up like a Christmas tree. The best thing by far was the attentiveness of the waiter/owner (we were the only customers). As time went on, people started to show up and the place seemed less empty. The prices were wonderful for 2 people to eat it was roughly $61.50 dollars. Which for the amount of food we were served was great! By the time we were half way through the meal, I couldn't eat another bite! I ordered ,mamma’s homemade lentil soup served with garlic bread . It was delicious I loved every bite. The food was given to us fresh, hot and steamy from the kitchen . That meal cost $15.00, and the dish it was served in, looked like a skillet it was so big. Not bad for the price. Giulia ordered The grande breakfast which had Fried eggs bacon Italian sausages hash brown Fried tomatoes fried mushroom spinach . It cost $26.00, and was served simmering in a hot dish with Italian sourdough bread on the side To drink I had a freshly squeeze OJ The cost $9.00 and giulia had a Beautiful cappuccino that cost $4.00 which was amazing and I had to order there famous in my eyes Nutella shake Which cost $7.50 I highly recommend this cafe The food was absolutely beautiful atmosphere was amazing Peter you made my experience very memorable I will definitely be coming back here as The service that you provided was five star service I will be telling all my friends and family to come to 5 Dock to actually experience the best cafe in five Dock Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere...

I have been to this coffee shop before but today (20/11/2022) I really didn't like the service. I ordered an iced mocha take away. There were three girls in the shop, none of them smiled, greeted you or made you feel welcome. They basically just stood there and looked at you. I noticed the cup was dirty with a little bit milk outside of the cup when I got my drink. I showed them the cup and asked them nicely for a serviette so I can wipe it off. One of the girls just took my cup, gave it a wipe and gave it back to me without saying anything and no smiles at all. I said thank you and there was no response. I know there is a male owner is usually quite friendly but these three girls today were not friendly at all. On top of that, the iced mocha is not great. The taste was quite weak and the presentation was average. It's not worth $7. I will not buy it again. Overall if the service was good, I wouldn't mind too much about the drink cause I can just avoid ordering the same thing next time. However with the poor service, I will think twice before to visit...

I rate this cafe' a one star due to the following reasons;👎🏽

Service; When I came in today 12 May 2022, at 1pm the male cafe assistant (there was no other people in the Cafe). Additionally when I walked past before I went to buy a coffee, the male attendant on the phone outside was 100% (the same man that was previously behind the counter).

The same man that was behind the counter previuosly, was now sitting outside on the phone. He watched me go in, he did not acknowledge me, it was almost like he was pretending not to see me. To add insult to injury he didn't bother to stand up and serve me.

As a local guide, I am informing my followers and viewers to avoid this cafe.

Friendliness; nil, no attempt made by male cafe' attendant to greet me.

Value for money; staff member turning away customers, value therefore ranks low.

Given that this cafe' sits amongst over 10 cafe's, based on today's apalling example, try the other Cafe's first and avoid disappointment💯.
