Date of Visit: 2024 Sep 10. Time of Visit: 4.45 pm to 5.45 pm. Overall: 7.8/10. Food: 7. Portion: 10. Service: 7. Indoor Air Conditioning: N.A. Ambience: 7. Location: 8. Price: AUD20 to AUD30/pax (include gst) for 1 adult male and 1 adult female. Expected meal time 0.5 to 1 hours. Note that you have to pay immediately after you order your food. Food Order: (1) Chicken Katsu Omelet, (2) Dolsot Bibimbap. Total AUD36.00. Food: The restaurant provided 5 slices of oranges, miso soup and water. The Chicken Katsu Omelet came with savoury fried rice, a layer of omelet above the fried rice and finally the chicken katsu with mayonnaise sauce on top. The chicken katsu was slightly below average, it was bland and the exterior was not crispy. But the fried rice was above average, it had a savoury taste. The Bibimbap beef was soft, overall the dish was average. The miso soup was too salty. Portion: The portion is more than adequate. Indoor Ventilation: There was an air conditioning fan coil unit, but it was not switch on. The temperature inside was comfortable and the food did not become cold quickly. Ambience: The restaurant is rather small and feels crowded. The interior wall design looks quite elaborate, with a unique woody texture on wall, a leafy design on another wall and finally winter decorations by the window. There is a television and background music is not too loud to allow normal conversation. Location: It is located a short distance away from Sydney Central Business District (about 20 mins car ride, 0.5 hours public transport).

Just ordered takeout from here. Was really excited for some Korean food, but was disappointed in the portions and freshness of the food. I got spicy rice cakes and the container wasnโ€™t even half filled, the kimchi pancake was completely soggy and the spicy fried chicken wasnโ€™t crispy. This is sometimes the nature of take away though, hopefully in house dining is better! Despite the sogginess the food was still flavourful.

The photo is the "Chicken Katsu Don" and it tastes exactly how it looks, awful. The ingredients all had the same flavour of old oil and unclean grill, it's left a weird taste in the back of my throat. Place is generally untidy and features tacky decor. All in all, great place to recommend to your enemies.

Terrible Korean food and inexperienced as well as rude staff. Trust me, as a human to another human, don't come here.

Explanation: We ordered a kimchi soup and soft tofu soup, both Korean dishes. Soft tofu soup was average at best (used to be nicer, but the whole kitchen staff changed). The kimchi soup was EXTREMELY SOUR, and trust me, this wasn't a 'kimchi sour', this was more of a "whoops I accidentally spilled a cup of vinegar into your soup, but I don't give a *" kind of sour. Once we informed the waitress, she brought us just regular water to dilute the strong sourness, instead of making a new order. This wasn't the worst part, the waitress proceeded to add water into the kimchi soup, but then immediately added water to my soft tofu soup as well, before I could even stop her. Once she realised that she made a mistake, she just apologised and asked me if I could taste it and if it's still okay for me. What an absolute * experience. We got no compensation, only...

The ambience is casual. Can ask for wifi which is good.

  1. The tofu pork and kimchi (pork) soup are very delicious imo. The flavour (Saltiness and sweetness) match my taste.
  2. However, the bibimbap is not as salty and sweet, and does not match to what I like.
  3. The seafood pancake is recommended, there are plenty of fillings. I prefer without kimchi one as kimchi will override the seafood taste, but trying won't hurt.
  4. The entrees that I like is takoyaki. Agedashi tofu is warm as it freshly just cooked. I do not like their Gyoza and springroll though (nb: I have never found any gyoza and springroll that I like in Sydney).
  5. Friedchicken, Kaarage, do not match with what I prefer (it doesn't mean it is bad though, depends on the person).
  6. Dons and Teppan are ok.
  7. Ginseng soup is nice, abit spicy?.

There is a...
